My favorite thing to grow is definitely peppers of all kinds and colors, both sweet and spicy. I have some purple ones on the way as well, quite exited about those :)

Two months ago I got a new hyper fixation in my life which was indoor gardening and after a lot of research I bought my first batch of fruits/vegetables seeds. Your videos showed up about two weeks ago on my feed among a lot of other gardening channels and yours is my favorite. Instructions and tips are great but your videos the only thing that keeps my impatient self from getting disappointed. I've been watching them almost every day, (keep getting back to the ones I'm currently growing) and you have almost all my plants covered on your channel now. The satisfying style of watching a plant into full growth aside, It's helpful for me to get a presentation of what it'll be like and how long will it take and somewhat reassuring that it'll get there at it's own pace. I can't remember how many time I'd googled 'how long till bell pepper seeds germinate' 'how long till tomato plant fruit' 'why haven't my jalapeno seeds germinated yet' 'how to speed up my squash growth' 😅😅😅

It's nice to see these timelapses but I think a lot of people are growing really small plants in a pot that never fruit like this. I'd love to see what you're doing so I can replicate the results.

I cut up 8 bell peppers and put all the seeds into a small cup. I left it next to the sink and promptly forgot about it. It accidentally became wet and all the seeds were sprouting once I remembered it. I felt kinda bad, I didn't want to kill the little sprouts.... I also didn't have a garden bed or anything sufficient prepped. Not to mention, I didn't have time to fix one at that time. Well I had a empty garden box and spread them all in it. Forward about a month and I've given so many bell pepper plants out it's getting ridiculous. I did clean out a garden bed for some though... Here's hoping I actually manage to grow some peppers. (I'm not a gardener... so please anyone with some knowledge on the subject, feel free to give me some advice.)

Good luck with your peppers! Best advice I can give is: • Make sure they get at least 4 hours of sunlight a day, as they might decide not to flower/fruit if they think they don’t get enough light to support it. • While they’re still maturing, feed them every 1-2 weeks with fertiliser high in Nitrogen like liquid seaweed. They need Nitrogen to grow lots of leaves and stems. • Once you can see their first flower buds, switch to feeding them every one or two weeks with a high Potassium fertiliser. If they don’t have enough Potassium to form fruit, they’ll keep growing leaves instead. You can buy fertiliser made specifically for peppers/tomatoes which will work perfectly. • Lastly, check them regularly for aphids and pests! You can spray the aphids off your plant with a mixture of dish soap and water. If you see any ladybugs 🐞 or their larva in your garden, that’s great news! Ladybugs eat aphids. Put the ladybug on your peppers and they’ll work hard keeping the pest numbers down. Have fun! Growing from seed is so satisfying 😊

@@katyalupochev9589 Thank you for the detailed advice! On the pest front I bought some marigolds to plant in between them. I heard they help keep certain pests away. Hopefully it helps.

You don't seed strawberries and blackberries from seed. It's a ridiculous endeavor that will take years for fruit and that fruit may not even be good. It's best you sow some tomatoes and peppers. Hell there's some tomatoes out there that taste very sweet.
