Thanks for the interesting video! Small hint: the audio is a bit screwed up, it sounds like the recording is only on the left channel even though the background music is on both channels.

Ah thank you. A small issue I owe to Rode audio. Unfortunately I was unable to fix it in post…. Every time I use those Rode Wireless Go 2 mics I have a different issue. They seem to change setting arbitrarily just to screw up my shoots. I have been inches from throwing those stupid mics in the trash at least 5 times LOL. 😂

Small correction, the micelium is the actuall organism, the part we eat is their reproductive organ, the flowers to make a comparation.

It may have been hard to see because the camera was overexposing but the mass of branching, thread-like hyphae that were visible near the base is the mycelium. As i said in the video it is Root like. then I referred to the mushroom as the fruiting body to differentiate. As always though I appreciate the feedback. Thanks for watching

what do oyster mushrooms taste like?

Good question, difficult to describe if comparing to something at a grocery store. They are mild, pleasant, and wonderful sautéed. Very versatile mushroom as well, I use them in stews, red or white sauces. For me they are the benchmark which all other mushrooms are compared to.
