Jason tries to act like the responsible father as Maggie over reacts about Mike going out. Jason gets all Reagan-era, perfect dad preachy with modern values about raising kids like she has no idea what she's doing.

Wow! First time I am seeing this. Never knew there was another Carol Seaver. Unaired pilots are fun. Otherwise I was looking for the meta episode in which Jeremy Miller breaks the fourth wall and realize is in a sitcom, freaks out and escapes from the technical crew and other staff members by running into the audience… which episode is that?

there are stay at home DADS too. when are you men gonna realize that not only women can raise children and give up a paycheck to help raise all the "little monsters" we help birth for you to carry on your genes? I mean really. you can't have it all either and have it work out to your advantage.. both parents working is hard, but so is scrimping and saving b/c only 1 parent works, and then sometimes the 1 working parent has more than 1 job... FUN. now you're never home. Men (sighhhh)

The weakening of the family structure because of feminazi’s like yourself..go make me a goddamn sandwich, sweetie..😂😂😂

@@Desmondbrown73 my husband is a SAHD because he was laid off. I'm the sole income. Sooo that's not being a feminazi lmao.. we made a choice for him to help raise our 2 kids post lay off. My initial comment was made prior to his lay off (5 yr ago). And I stand by relationships can split duties, whomever is best and share stresses and chores. But still be conservative and traditional. And logically speaking and looking at data, one parent working households make less than the national average. And the 1 parent working with more than 1 kid are INDEED working more than one job. *I don't * - but we budget and have no mortgage (already paid it off ). But most people live beyond their means bc they are stupid with their money. So we are an exception to the rule. Point mostly being - this is a DECADE old comment lol.. Also the weakening of the family structure is based on how OUR parents raised US. I'm 41 this December and was trusted to be at home alone at 12. Compare to my 43 yr old husband who was alone at home by the age of 6. Of course, he was ACTUALLY abused and neglected. But seeing as we BOTH came from divorced families... which is common... not many people can say their parents stayed together for life. Now look at my relationship- together since I was 20, married to him at 26, and ...we are STILL married. I have had 1 sex partner- my husband. ALSO uncommon but.... my parents raised me with morals and self-worth. So if you don't 1) talk to your kids about reasons to date (which should be to find a spouse, not "to have fun & screw everyone"), 2) tell both sons AND daughters to keep their genitals to themselves UNTIL marriage,... then divorce is lower plus a happier marriage is more likley. So. There's that. Also - NOT me being a feminazi lmao I worked alongside many women AND men in the nursing field who had 1 income households, both married and divorced. The aides more commonly needed 2 jobs. The nurses, not so much. So yes DR Seaver didn't have to suffer like middle class, and lower, real life families watching this show. LoL

@@sassylovee9724 he's in the home but working, I know. Most people watching this show back then had to leave the home to work bc DR Seaver didn't represent 99% Of America lmao. They were middle class or lower. Not much of US's population is like Dr Seaver with his own practice much less IN THEIR OWN HOUSE. Rare. Very much
