GROW RADISH AT HOME | NO NEED FOR A GARDEN
GROWING TIPS:-
Sowing Season -Spring and Winter months ( Ideal temperature 8-28 degree Celsius) AUGUST MID TO JANUARY MID
Radish germinates in about 5 days and is ready for harvest in 4-5 weeks.
Soil Type and Prep - well-drained soil rich in organic matter such as compost or composted manure(40% GARDEN SOIL+ 30% COMPOST+30% RIVER SAND/COCOPEAT/PERLITE)
Instead of sowing radish seeds in seed trays, plant them directly in the desired pots.
Germination Temperature : 8°C - 28°C.
Sunlight - Sun to partial shade.
Water - Water whenever soil feels dry to touch.

This looks a nice way to grow radish. I grew some in plastic containers which weren't deep enough and I got L-shaped radish.

Since I found your channel over the last few weeks, I must comment finally. I truly really enjoy every moment of your videos. They are very precise instruction very good and easy to follow, very goodbackground music and I'm 55 years old and learned more from your videos than I have learned from anyone else. You even show the parts of soil to use, and I even can see the root depth of each plant and understand what size pot or container I can use. I am poor and disabled loving in USA and your videos have inspired me so much. I'm trying your method of growing these same radishes the way you do, only I am using a tall one gallon juice bottle so the root depth of each radish and grow healthy. I hope it works 😊😊😊

well done video. explanations were clear, the music was very pleasant. However, I have concern about plastics exposed to heat and sun. many warnings have been given concerning the transfer of chemicals from the plastic to the contents in the containers when heat is in the equation (water in water bottles specifically, or in this case might the chemicals get released into the soil and then into the radish?). Most warnings are for extreme heat and since radishes are cool weather crops maybe it isn't a big deal??? Just something to consider and be aware of. Still the concept of saving space and finding suitable containers for growing vegetables when garden space is limited is a great encouragement.

I think this may be easier in bottles vs the garden. It’s not easy to keep the dirt moist down so deeply. And also, this will be easier to keep those darn cabbage worms off!!! Omg Ive fought so hard with my kale between them and the rabbits. 😖 🐇 So I think if you put several bottles in one big pot and cover the entire pot with mesh, I can’t think of much of anything that could go wrong as long as there is enough airflow. You never seem to have issues with bugs or diseases.

Try stir frying your radishes. I was never a “huge” fan and now I am. I love the different tastes of all the different varieties and they are absolutely delicious in stir fry! Radishes are high in vitamin C, so that supports your immune system and the fiber content of radishes helps digestion and supports your gut.
