Growing Seeds from Space Launching scientific inquiry through NASA experiments

In Ms. Kelly Smith's sixth grade science class at Esperero Canyon Middle School, students are doing hands-on research through two NASA projects, both involving plants and space. In Growing Beyond Earth, they are growing plants using conditions like those found on the International Space Station. In the Tomatosphere project, they are cultivating seeds that have gone to space.
