No inspiration can be more than inspiration from your parents. I agree that everybody in this world should have access to education and the main aim of this education should be to enhance our critical thinking. Applying our knowledge through hands-on learning is the only way to retain it for a longer time. Congratulations Anna on having such a perspective at this age.

Here at NSTEM, we encourage girls and women to study STEM fields. We also agree with two quotes: "Access to education changes lives" and "emotion drives attention, attention drives learning." Anna, you are changing the world with your nonprofit. Way to go!

I used these arguments and many other today to present my case for a selection into this organization that could change things at schools. During this part of my presentation they cut me off and then presumed to tell me later on that I wasn't selected for not talking about the thing I wanted to say at the moment I was cut off. I really hope that we can make a change. Unfortunately I wasn't successful this time, but I won't give up!

"The most valuable thing anyone can own is knowledge." Yes, it is. It is PRICELESS. Freedom? Freedom can be taken away. Money? Money can be lost in the blink of an eye. Home? Homes can be destroyed. Family? Not everyone comes from a good family. But you can't really lose your knowledge.

Often the best way to meet the clients satisfaction which will directly add to the revenue of the business is thru customers feedback...very much applicable to attaining the aim of education.

John Dewey often regarded as the father of education om e stated we only think when confronted with a problem, that's why students need to be givrn the chance to apoly their skills before they feel satisfied with their knowledge and studies have shown over and over again that students do better when they get the chance to overlop an emotional connection to the subject that they are learing emotion drives attention and attention drives learning.

in order to that we need to show kids how the skiils that they're learing in school can be applied to the things that happen around them in their day to day lives. every subject is importent whether is literature chemistry of calculus, but the reason fhe students sometimes get frustrated or start to feel that these subjects are useless is because they are rarely given the chance to apply them.

Nice but what's critical thinking? Is it only in computer or engineering classes? What about in faculty of arts and humanities???
@ronaldjapona
@ronaldjapona 4 жыл бұрын
Actually critical thinking not means only that fields. It may done on how we think a solution to a certain problems , if you wish your students will be used their critical thinking. Let them think by their selves how?. Then you may do reflection about arts and humanities, or even in a different fields. In that way they may experience a memorable educations.
