Love this. I’m in Oregon USA. Have the Yamhill Natives. Small patch. A person can plant just two or three trees in their garden if you put in the right kind of tree inoculated and keep the soil at the right pH for the trees. ❤

One question is, how to determine the best position for each tree? He mentioned swales and ridges, I believe. Would that mean the trees won't be in a straight line?

Do Truffles kill the tree? or is the harvest part of digging at the roots for the tree kill the tree?
@gi2953 жыл бұрын
Truffles and trees are in a symbiotic relationship, truffles aid in absorb toon of water and nutrients from the soil and in return the tree provides the truffles with sugars. Digging up the truffles doesn’t cause much damage to the roots, you only dig up a small part, trees are constantly damaged in nature, they are very resilient, many times when you transplant trees it’s recommended that you trim their roots. To summarize, truffles help the trees and digging them up doesn’t hurt the tree
