Tulsi plant is easy to grow from seeds. This timelapse video is a demonstration of that. You can grow Tulsi in a pot indoor but make sure there is enough light either natural sunlight or plant light. Tulsi is also commonly called holy basil. Compared to the other time lapse videos I filmed, Tulsi plant was the slowest to grow. It truly tested my patience this time 😂

It was always at room temperature (19-23C) and I watered it every day since the pot was small.

Yes it should grow just fine!

@@superdappercat1568 It depends on how the seeds were preserved. It needs to be completely dry and kept away from moisture until you are ready to plant. Even when planting, not all seeds will sprout for various reasons (too hot, too cold, soil too dry, soil too wet, etc). In order to maximize your chances plant multiple seeds and thin them out later after they are 1" tall. Good luck!

Hey I had sown tulsi seeds grown in our balcony. I dried and grew as shown here about 10-15 backs I guess. I m not seeing any results. I do water it whenever the top soil feels dry and also I had kept it outside as the sunlight falls in our balcony is for only 4-5 hours a day. What should I do? Thanks in advance

What you can also do is soak paper towel or cloth in water and warp some seeds with that soaked towel. Keep it wet and cool for a few days until the seeds swell and eventually they will break out of their shell. The same thing happens in soil (as shown in my video) I made sure to keep the soil cool and soaked for almost 9 days until when the seeds finally sprouted.

Probably more sunlight and regular watering. I had 2 tulsi plants on my terrace and now they are spreading everywhere. These seeds are even travelling through wind and growing in other vases. They grow and spread very fast.

It's plant grow mix bought from a store.

You can make a good potting mix take some kitchen waste store in a closed container and place a little amount of soil in it after 30 days the waste will be turned into nutritious soil use it with normal soil and you're good to go.

Yes I am not sure what happened with this one. The seed took almost 10 days to sprout. The growth later was also noticeably very slow.

I planted the entire pod. The pod had multiple seeds in it. Tulsi Seeds are too tiny to be seen on camera so I planted the whole pod.

@@daksAl1gsao 1 seed inside a 1 pod, but these pods usually grow in a cluster. In this video I planted 1 pod which contained 1 seed. The seeds are brown, round and less than half the size of a rice grain.
