I went to the local shop when I was aboot 10 with a £20 note and got the change of a tenner, and immediately told to get the other tenner owed. The greedy son refused it and my mother clipped me for allowing it. Their biggest mistake as I wanted revenge and I would ask my mates what sweets (kets) they fancied and would spend 20 pence and come oot with at least 3 quid of stuff and never sussed and then camping oot rough at 14/15 year old and robbing their crusty loaves on Saturday mornings with milk and fresh orange. I got that tenner back multiple-fold, the good old days. 🤣🤣🤣

i liked the old times better in fact we had the best of times , we were out at the bars every weekend ( theres virtually none left open now ) we used to go the boat ( tuxedo princess ) and it had a revolving dancing floor and i was so drunk i couldn't get off and fell and broke my leg and i was in the RVI in newcastle singing my head off ( absoultly mortal ) and the little docter said " your laughing now wait till the morning you wont be laughing then " my god i woke up about 4.30 with the worst pain ive ever had i was sobbing and he was right enough 😉😁😀
