I also cant see far away since a small child im 46 now and i had a hard time learning coming from a broken home. As the years went by i lost more and more of my sight now I can't see close up either and it limits my ability to drive my whole life. And my children my grand parents all wear glasses and i never took care of my vision and i paying for it rt now feeling shame of not doing so. I want to thank you just found your channel im here ti stay 🎉❤

I really really need to know how to deal with possibility of blindness

My one problem is somewhat how to communicate to my family how to handle me by carrying my hand or what I need to step up or what I can see and what I can't see like right now it's hard for me to see wet floor signs if I'm walking I have to actually look down and see what's on the floor before you know I had that vision where I can see everything but I know it's getting narrow. And it's strange it seems like family and friends are scared to touch you or hold your hand thinking they might go blind. You can kind of sense it

Wow it's tough because they don't really understand what you are going through. I'm sorry that your family is mot supportive as they should be. These are some of the struggles we deal with. Are you a part of any organization for the blind? Not sure if you heard of the Natoinal Federation Of The Blind (NFB) But I truly love being part or the organization. There could be a chapter in your state. As well as your city. It is very big. All across the United States.

What about the different eye drops do you have eye drops and do they work I realize you're not a doctor so I'll be listening to what you say from your personal experiences

My vision has been getting worse over the past couple of years. So they are trying to find the right drops for me. I am on two drops right now. And I probably will have a shunt put in my left eye. I already have one in the right eye. Glaucoma has been a journey for my whole life.
