@@aidenheuck5431 depends when they divorced, when they have had like 10 years or more together, you would be really sad as you remember those great times with them together, when they are small, it is not a really huge deal as you don’t process much.

Well it's not about him remembering when we were still together or being sad that we're separated But children see things differently. When they get old enough to understand that mom and dad are supposed to be together, they'll start asking why we're separated and why we won't get back together.

This had become one of my comfort videos to watch on repeat back in 2022 when my parents were really on the rocks and split for good. They had always had marital problems, but I was just too young to see it…. When I got older, I just refused to see it until it got really bad. It got to the point where I wanted to run away from home, to where anything felt better than going home to that house that either felt so cold and lonely to me or was so damn volatile that something so small as mentioning my mom in front of my dad would set him off into screaming at me. No one should hear the words “Your mother doesn’t love you anymore, she just left you here for another man” or “Your father was just so bad, I just wanted to be happy! Why can’t you let me be happy?” It got so bad I actually started disassociating for hours on end, and it didn’t help that I had a major health scare during that time that turned out to be chronic illness. I guess the whole fiasco with my parents was the trigger that finally made my genetics into gear and say “ oh by the way you have Ulcerative Colitis!!” It was just comforting to watch this. It just felt like I was seen Thank you, Don

I never knew or appreciated that much the love of a father until I met my stepfather. My biological father basically ditched us in my teens, and made me realize that he was never there for me (it was my mom making me think he was). But my stepdad, who never wanted or tried to replace my “real” father, ironically ended being the best dad I’ve ever have, because he more than say that he care _he actually shows it _ and he does it genuinely

Good 4 u. There r few great dads out there. Happy u found one. You are a special and unique person. Your life & soul matter. Your life is very short compared to eternity. Therefore if you want to spend eternity on heaven after your life here on earth 🌎, you should believe in your heart ❤️ that Jesus Christ is your Savior. If you don't, you will miss going to heaven and end up in the lake of fire. It is terrible so I beg you to make the only correct decision for God to allow you to go to heaven. Jesus Christ is the only way to eternal life. 🙏 Have a nice day.

I would get comments from people all the time saying how pretty she was, especially when I was in elementary school I remember being with my mom in a store and I noticed a couple of guys looking at her like dogs glaring at an 8 ounce steak. I then asked her question, making sure I said Mami (“Mami, can I get this??” Referring to a notebook) They heard that and I wish I had a picture of the look of oh shit they had their faces-

This person decided to divorce her awesome husband, Paul. Nothing is always positive. U can't bring your pride, degrees, savings, investments, and your daughters out of this life. What will anyone do to make it to heaven? 😮 Are you not motivated to accept Jesus Christ wherever u are in life? Even the smartest and richest people don't qualify for heaven. 😅😮

My parents weren’t married but they were together for 15 years. In the process they had me and when they split I remember being so sad because I tried so hard everyday they would argue to get them to make up and we all be happy again. "But he's made certain choices, and those weren't my choices." That's exactly something I just learned at 23 years old after finding out that I had a little sister through my dad. My grandparents and my dad tried to get us to be close when we were younger and kept putting the responsibility on me to build a relationship with her because I was the older sister, but we never really connected like that. Now it's awkward when I do try to reach out, so I just stopped doing it. I had to learn to not feel guilty about that because I didn't create the situation to begin with.

As a child of divorce, I remember I used to see all these wonderful pictures of my parents with my older brother. I don't remember my parents ever being together, but my brother does. My dad left when I was 3, I used to think that it was my fault. That they split because I was a bad kid, I caused too much stress, I ruined everything. It took a really long time and a lot of therapy to come to terms with that. My mom was a single mom, she worked a whole lot. My brother and I had to learn how to take care of ourselves earlier. I missed out on a lot of social events and school trips, but I never cared as long as I had my family. My mom remarried my step dad who I love, and my dad just....faded out of my life. I haven't seen him or spoken to him in years, but that hole was filled by such a wonderful stepdad and new step brothers who are 1000% brothers.
