Join me on a tour of Alice's super productive self-sufficient garden and get inspired by easy to implement and free ecological gardening for beginners tips and practices (like compost, mulching, intercropping, polycultures, container gardening, food forestry, integrating chicken and rabbits etc.). Alice has tended this Nairobi garden since 2015 and in five years has created a beautiful natural ecosystem that provides abundant family for her family of four. She's a Kenyan permaculture expert and consultant with a wealth of knowledge that she shares with us freely here.

🌻🐝☀️🌺👨‍🌾 I love your garden!! It’s a great inspiration to me as I am also a gardener and KZbin creator. You put a lot of work and love into growing your garden! All the hard work is worth it to me to get to see the new growth everyday it brings me so much joy! l’m just harvesting my first fruits and veggies. I still have so much to learn and I appreciate all of m your tips, tricks that you share! Please Keep sharing! I would love to learn more about gardening from each other.

I love the diversity and the production.Beautiful. I also have things all growing together in layers and mixtures, and mulching rather than digging. People think I'm mad and when they visit my garden they always step in the beds and crush the plants saying they cant see where to walk, like they're in the jungle or something. Nice also to see someone else that grows nightshade, one of my favourite all-rounders.

This exactly how my grandpa did. He had various crops and fruits and vegetables and other things were available all year round. There was less tilling of the soil. He even managed to build a posho mill powered by water which is still working since 1947. I miss him.
