Cape Town, South Africa, is one of the world’s top holiday destinations and offers unique experiences, fun, relaxation, and adventure for the most discerning traveler.
People from around the world are attracted to the Mother City - so named because it was the first city to be developed in South Africa.
Whether you are looking for a family holiday, cultural and heritage experiences, outdoor life and extreme sports, luxury business travel, shopping or simply a beach holiday, Cape Town offers all of those and more.
Not to mention an abundance of grand gourmet experiences and wonderful local wine tastings.
Join us as we visit the city and discover many key attractions including the beach where they just filmed the new Netflix series Troy!
Enjoy :)

Just a correction, the two oceans do not meet at Cape Point they actually meet at Cape Agulhas which you would have passed on your road trip from Jeffery's Bay / Franshoek to Cape Town

My daughter loves this episode the most. She’s seen it over and over again. Although she’s now 22, she just Loves Penguins! Her room has always been adorned with penguins ever since she read the book, Mr. Popper’s Penguins, in the 3rd grade. Marvelous vistas at the tip of Africa and cute penguins. I bet you would love to see Antarctica. My wife’s aunt and uncle flew over the North Pole for their 40th anniversary and over the South Pole for their 50th anniversary. We joke that their love took them to both ends of the earth. My daughter cherishes her stuffed penguin doll from their trip. They approached the South Pole from Punta Arenas, Chile (north of Cape Horn). They have both passed, but our memories of their adventures live on.

That’s awesome! I laughed because at first I thought you were talking about a little girl. We’re never too old for stuffed penguins! One day we’ll make it to Antarctica. What an amazing trip your wife’s aunt did for their anniversaries. Maybe we’ll find some more penguins for your daughter here in NZ. They had a sign for some the other day in a place called Kaiteriteri. Thanks for the comment!

It's actually entertaining to see what I haven't done in my home town. Been on a boat, but that specific tour, I haven't done. Can't remember when last I've been on Table Mountain, but I know it was when I went hiking. Penguin Beach, I had to drive myself, so was in last decade. I don't do the sights, probably because I am from here, and none of my friends that are from other provinces ever ask me to be their tour guide. Then again, I know the areas they come from better than them. That is the way it goes. Once you from a place, you don't explore that much. Thank you for the different view of Cape Town.

Summertime: summer clothing plus add something warm or long. Wintertime: winter clothing plus add something cool to wear or short. Cape Town's weather can be schizophrenic. Four seasons in one day. Also take into account windy conditions which is present any time of the year.

Well chosen spots make this video really good, so lovely and familiar. You´re great movie producers and the all family is so beautifull that leave me with no words. Excellent video of my favourite world city Cape Town. Born in Mozambique LM-Maputo, I was 3 when I first saw it. Later, I was 9 when cruiser Infante D.Henrique, the portuguese travelling ship, on the waves from Lisbon to Lourenço Marques, almost sank between the two oceans in 1970. I was inside busy sleeping at the time because it happened during the night. The crossing of both Atlantic and Indian oceans is really dangerous. This video brought my memories back into scenery.

Why do people always think Cape Point is where the two oceans meet? Where do they get that from as it is completely wrong. The two oceans meet at Cape Agulhas the southern most tip of Africa which is towards the garden Route. cape point is the most south western point of Africa. It is where the two sea currents meet NOT the two oceans.
