No need. The grass will purify the water. That's why it is used so often for sewerage treatment. It grows in water even without fertilisation. Just make sure not tio submerge the root ball completely as the stems will begin to rot.

I rather enjoyed that. Might I be so bold as to request 1. Digging it up/out and 2. Splitting the slips. You will create an impressive resource for this. Maybe even show them on your website.

All in good time. We will cover all those issues. You may have to wait a few months for the digging and dividing as plant growth slows down here in the cooler months. Vetiver stops growing -- goes semi dormant -- at 5C, although it can survive colder temperatures.
