A TV show is possible. It has to be a high budget, hbo, Amazon level, and I can see it being a prequel way before the shattering. It can be from rannis POV before she became a doll and her growing up with her siblings and focuses on the tension with their half siblings.

​@@Markadown here is my reasons fot hating it A game which have a reuse problem for many ( it doesnt bother me) uses a reused character for the final boss -many of his movesets are reused( i know itd the same guy but in a dlc where u have fully unique bosses like messmer and midra thats bad especially for the final boss) -lack of unique moves -no voicelines upon death in both phases - the fight is horrible in comparaison of the likes of messmer / bayle / mida the fight quality is simply way inferior and lacks polish and feels janky af

Bloodborne TV series would have made more sense. It's a more tight universe set in a smaller area basically just a town. Much easier to film and set up special effects. Easier to adapt to television because the plot can be told from various perspectives or timelines, like the beginning of the blood curse. Elden ring is just so vast and spans thousands of years and has immortal gods doing their godly things. Not sure which part of elden ring's history should be told. Perhaps Marika's pre-ascension and the Hornsent era probably.

since GRRM works been made to tv shows and pretty successfully. i think if GRRM takes elden ring story and make it to a book and they can make a show with that book. since he did made the bases of the story so he will have bit more attachment and understanding. personally, BB is my favorite fromsoft game, but have you ever try to explain story of BB to your friends? i was really struggling with that... BB has such a good interesting story, but it is so convoluted and incoherent that it will be disastrous. i think BB story fits really well with game medium, but not sure as story for tv show.

I would rather see them do Bloodbourne movie/Tv series before Elden ring. I think to give Elden Ring you would need a very big budget to do it any justice.

Not sure how I feel about this, would be cool if it covered the preamble to elden ring like the giant skeleton in Nokstella and whatever happened in the early days when Metyr just arrived. Other than that I'm not sure if I want GRRM to cook more on the era that our character is in.

Honestly, the only way i see something like this working is if they do the series about Vyke, an established character, but also very open to interpretation due to this being a fromsoft game. Following the main game is impossible, and doing a series in any other time other than post shattering wouldn't capture the essence of the story. You could do it about the shattering, but that would be more fanservice than not.

@same5457 Vykes story has a lot of potential. He was heavily involved with the dragon cult, the frenzied flame, and the round table hold and how he ended up in the evergaol. A story about the shattering would be great, but I honestly think may fall a bit flat for those that don't/didn't play the game.

Wouldn’t he try to save his beloved brother from a cages divinity? GRRM favorite trope is the long lost prince. When you first start the game you aren’t like other tarnished. You grow stronger. The Japanese community discovered in the first cutscene when you “RISE” you can hear the cries, steps, and rings of the walking mausoleums. Fia says Godwyn will be given new life as the her Rune. But make no mistake, this is just the transfer of his vitality. When attacked at the end of her quest she calls you Godwyn.
