Grub's 7lb Burger Patty Record Challenge in Fayetteville, Arkansas!!

A&Z #1014 - Randy Santel vs Grub's 7lb Burger Patty Record Challenge at the Grub's Bar and Grille location in downtown Fayetteville, Arkansas. After canceling the rest of my planned Texas & Southwest USA Tour at the end of June 2021, I headed home and let my body rest and recover for about 1 month. Then I made the trip from Milwaukee, Wisconsin back to Springfield, Missouri so I could fully move the rest of my stuff out of my apartment I lived in while attending Missouri State University. I spent a week attempting 7 different food challenges within a reasonable driving distance from my apartment. For food challenge #5, I traveled down to downtown Fayetteville, Arkansas which is the home of the University of Arkansas Razorbacks. There, I attempted to set the new burger patty record at Grub's Bar and Grille. There are other Grub's locations in Arkansas but they don't host this food challenge. I had 1 hour to beat the previous burger patty record of thirteen 1/2lb beef burger patties set by my friend ‪@DaGarbageDisposal‬ a few years ago in under 17 minutes. I needed to eat all 7lbs of beef plus a 1/2lb side of Grub's fries which are also delicious. I was trying to win my $67 cheeseburger meal free plus a sweet t-shirt and the top spot on Grub's downtown location's Wall of Fame. BIG thanks to everyone with Grub's Bar and Grille in downtown Fayetteville for the fantastic food, drinks, and hospitality!! Thanks also to the amazing people who came up that warm July afternoon to watch and meet me!! Grub's 7lb Burger 14-Patty Record Challenge in downtown Fayetteville, Arkansas ($67):
- Grub's provides a family friendly environment with daily specials and an amazing staff ready to make your experience not only enjoyable but memorable.
- There are other locations in Arkansas but they don't host this burger patty record challenge.
- Grub's serves juicy 1/2 lb beef burger patties and to win this challenge, you must break the current burger patty record in less than the 1 hour time limit with a 1/2 lb side of fries.
- ‪@DaGarbageDisposal‬ previously had the record before me with 13 patties.
- You can add cheese and other toppings if interested, but they are not required. Fries are though.
- I had 1 hour to finish all 14 half-pound beef patties (7lbs total) with 7-8 extra slices of cheese.
- Winners earn the $67 cheeseburger meal free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on Wall of Fame!!

Yo, this is Liz the prep cook at Grub's! I made all the patties for this separately because we only have third-pounders on the menu now. Well done, dude! That was an intimidating amount of beef, but Dawson will always cook that stuff to perfection. Thanks for coming by and hyping up Grub's. I've been binging on Randy's videos so hard these last couple weeks that I'm starting to mirror his moves when I eat.. It typically goes *Take a big bite, chew a few times, jerk my head to the right once or twice, then one solid jerk backwards as if I'm trying to toss the food down the back of my gullet straight to my belly.. then I do the "Get it all down" dance shifting as if I'm running in place.. then I grab my belly and take a deep breath to make more room down there.. last but not least, I hold my food up to the imaginary camera in front of me so I can show my imaginary viewers exactly what is inside while chewing profusely.. if I ever decide to take on a food challenge, I WILL be prepared.. I’ll give props to the locals there because I went there while in the Army for a training exercise during St. Patty’s Day back in the mid 90’s and those people love their Razorbacks 100%.
