In league of legends besides strength, agility, intelligence, they also have subtypes like assassin. That's the type of stuff Blizzard needs to be thinking about for reforged, or if ever warcraft 4

3:32 @FollowGrubby In the unlikely event you don't know this, healing creeps always prioritize healing others first, so if you're killing the priest first you can have a low damage unit (such as the acolyte) attack something else so it will heal that instead!

Yeah that was his main problem. He always had ALL Priests on Auto-Cast. You must never do this if you don't have a source for Mana - and even then you might not want to this. There is no way you have enough Mana on your Priests if the enemy has Disease-Cloud and Mass-Necros if you waste it on Auto-Cast. If he had made 1 or 2 Priests more, didn't waste his Mana on Auto-Cast I believe he would have won. Oh, he didn't use Banish to counter PL as well.

I'd rather rain of fire and howl build w/ Necrowagon. One of most troublesome moments with necrowagon is point where enemy heroes quickly levelup dispelling hordes of skeletons. And cleave isn't that good on low lvl PL.

@8:57 grubby says that if that makes UD the best race, it would be the first time in TFT. while that's true in general, I believe there was the undispellable anti magic shield patch which made all UD units invincible to all spells.. Imagine even just mass ghouls and heroes who were ALL invincible to all hero/unit spells.. It basically made every unit and hero into a destro.. Lol. This lasted for a few days iirc and even those cheap players who switched to noobelf to abuse mass AOW/BM summons etc switched to UD to abuse it, so yeah. That should tell you something since it was the only time those cheap players ever switched to UD(along with exploiting mass destro patch, which iirc, they overlapped which made UD the best race at the time). That time UD was the best for a few days I think, but I could be wrong. Maybe the other races could have worked out a counter to AMS, but blizzard nerfed it almost instantly after a few days. I remember that as the AMS patch.. It was so short and maybe grubby didn't play for a few days and completely missed it. Haha

You cant get Cleave and Coil Lvl 3 easily with a third Hero Bro. After he reached with Both lvl 5, he might go Lich mass frost armor lvl 1 yea

Hi. Care to explain why the area attack for the catapults instead of point clicking on towers?

you need vision to attack something, so the meat wagons would've gone there and get destroyed

1. If you do not have vision, you are unable to attack. 2. Normally attacking a unit/building with point and click which is locates at a higher altitude increases the chance to miss by 25%. By doing area attack you are guaranteed to inflict damage.

Thx bros. One more detail. Grubby could have done area attack without hitting the barracks. But he aims the area attack high at the middle of towers. I suppose it does more damage in the center than in the borders? Or it could be a necessityto micro faster...

@@fidacuca Surely it's easier to micro. And of course in the middle is dealt maximum damage. If you are curious about exact percentages from middle area to the margins of the circle you are free to open World Editor and look at each unit's stats

I think it would need more polishing to be even considered a legit pro stat. 1. You need a map with enough creeps that you can level your PL up asap. Even on this map Grubby had problems initially and needed 2 taverns and an Altar revive. 2. If the opponent played a bit smarter he would have de-activated auto-cast from priests. Dispell would have taken both HP tanks and Damage output. He focused PL in the early game but once Grubby used his money on items such as invul and mana pots he should have switched his combat style. He seemed way ahead mid-game and lost it when he engaged in a fight he did not need to (in front of expo). He wanted to kill PL again just like he used to but wasted much mana for that without succes. Once DK has a level 3 coil and a Mana pot, you have to focus on crippling the support lines. In General any Pro Player toasts you mid-game enough that a solid late-game will bring him victory. You have close to no additional damage output, the Hero you want to level is your tank and you can neither harass nor defend your base properly. It should only work if your opponent lets you dictate the pace of the game.

As tft went live , ud was actually the strongest race, till the big destroyer nerf. I hold the 1v1 ladder rekord till 98:0 and most of the players were like "Damn, good one. Oh no , he is playing UD, everyone can do this" :D:D:D

You should have frenzied your DK all the time too, he has quite high dmg but slow attack speed.. and got lich or crypt lord third and frenzied that too. Frenzied heroes can solo army by themselves(with frost armor or armor carapace and death pact/coil, they are one man army). After that just get wyrms and abom and frenzy them too. And just a move and win. Lol. My strat is to get 3 to staff and to TP to shades and play RPG with frenzied heroes. Just destroy gold peasant lines with single or Tri heros and frenzy. You should also try frenzy fire lord, with that skill that stacks and does more dmg with each successful attack. I go fire lord first with fiend into frenzy. Hard to keep alive though, UD needs to be able to coil all tavern heroes and it would open up so many strats it's not funny.

Frenzy is pretty amazing, but probably he didn't want DK to get focused anyway. When playing necs I always used to try and go in with a line of upgraded ghouls and skels first, empty the wagons and send the first wave of skels so that you don't end up with your meat standing in the back and missing the fight. Ghouls give plenty of bodies when they die and do great damage to heroes along with the wagons. Also would have kept more statues, too many destroyers aren't necessary since the priests have to dispel. Fiends/aboms just aren't as effective as having some extra wagons and pumping ghouls, they also give you a ton of lumber for all the upgrades.

I love pitlord and i am glad to see him in action and the video is OK but this didnt feel "legendary" to me ,grubby losing pitlord 4 times in total,3 of which could have been prevented easily from happening,one time caught out of position kinda badly,missing coils and I feel like he put it as a"legendary game" only because he got surpised by pitlord's potential.That's what I think about this anyway. EDIT:Also lost an exp tome.

@@caloreen1992 twas a joke, but since you are being sincere, here's why. The ai in wc3 is completely crap. despite easy not teching past tier 1 they will always out-produce and out-speed you. How do I know? Vanilla 2 player size map (any), rush a hero then rush the hero to enemy base. By the time your hero reached enemy base the ai will have a hero and several units (20+ food). you may have a hero and one or 2 more units. This only gets worse. Say I do rush to 80 food, that still won't beat the ai since they're guaranteed to have a bigger army and substantially better micro. Normal, ironically, is a bit easier. With insane being, well...insane.

@@krunalpatelbiotech fair enough. I just feel that saying his micro is very bad makes him sound like a noob at wc3. Relative to Happy's insane micro in a single game, I'm sure grubby's micro would seem poor, bit relative to the avergae player, I am sure his micro is still really good.
