People say this about every hero, but Timbersaw really is one of the most unique heroes in the game. He has such a weird relationship with trees. Constantly destroying them but needing them to be effective. He gets more survivable by taking damage. He has some of the highest mobility in the game with a super long jump on a really short cooldown. His spells just dont...work like other peoples' spells. He's truly a weirdo. Which means he takes a lot of time to stop being real bad with. But he has a super duper high skill cap and if you get good with him he becomes REALLY dominant. Huge damage, extremely difficult to kill. And not many counters since hes mostly pure damage.

Timber is my favorite hero. The only hero that I struggle to fight against are the root types (troll&druid) and extremely high phys burst (PA&LC). Root types because mobility is his highest strength. High phys because his armor is pretty low early on, tho PA&LC will kill just about anyone anyway.

​@@BSoDexe Isn't a nice matchup, but an eul will get rid of the silence and break while lotus to deter him from ulting. Surviving 7sec against bloodseeker isn't hard. PA and LC will just delete you if you fail to escape their burst.

Well he hasn't been reworked, but they nerfed him a lot this year. Reducing the Q attr reduction and the change to reactive armor are pretty significant. I used to be able to get 1 value point in E and max Q and just dominate lane. Against weak opponents I can still do that, but more often than not I have to go 2 points in E before I can start dominating.

Timbersaw really wants to stay in the offlane, constantly pushing his limits, making the enemy team come get him and when you get good on him, should rarely die. It creates a lot of space on the map. He jungles much faster than almost any other hero, so ganking is mostly ineffecient, compared to just chilling offlane. You can even threaten tier 2 before most other heroes. Your biggest timing is soul ring, manaboots, wand, hood and euls/lotus. At that point you are virtually unkillable, unless you are behind in farm, which you really never want to be on this hero. If you die a few times early, you will die many more. Just a few notes for next timber game. This hero is amazing, and so much fun! You did absolutely fine, just stay offlane and do the same ❤️

Soul ring is slightly overrated on Timber. If you are playing from behind or expect it to be a hard game, skip soul ring and go 2 bracers, then get to faster perseverance or similar item that gives mana and will scale into bigger item to be more efficient. Soul ring is like a "win harder" item... If you aren't going to be able to be out roaming the map farming and fighting for long enough (i.e. if you get killed or forced back to base or have to wait behind a tower with team) then soul ring is useless 400 recipe, while bracer gets 2x as good as 25 min.

I post this before watching the video. I've played around 700 timbersaw games on pos 2 with 68% winrate, he is really underappreciated on pos2, and he's my favourite hero ever. Some mid heroes like qop counter him on lane badly, sure, but you have A LOT of favourable matchups. Playing him on pos 2 allows you to get level 7 fast with 1-4-1-1 skills. This enables you to do around 700 pure aoe damage this early, so you just go and farm heroes, creating TONS of space while doing it. I recommend you try this. And to anyone who reads this.

@@mateomoreno331 there are a lot of good trees actually. The ones to escape ganks or attack enemy mid hero, at least. Sure you won't get that whirling death damage, but it's not really necessary. You just lasthit using it to harass enemy mid if he's close, and once you get level 6 and he's not full HP, you just towerdive and kill him. Done that countless times.

Timber is one of the spell spammer. And sometimes you missed to using it. U can using it without diving deep into tower. Just spam ult and find the way to use w and then q, get back and repeat

Timber destroys strength heroes because Str all causes a max health loss at 19 health per Str point (that figure might be different due to balance changes). That's also why Undying is so good early game laning. A good Timbersaw is a beast. He used to be pretty insane in the meta and used in TI even at pro level but he fell off because of "trends". Timber is the strongest solo offlaner there is. No pair can run him out of lane.

The thing is that by lvl7 you usually become basically immune to physical dmg, and most of the early(and generally i guess) dmg output comes from ulti anyways

@@nurdauletpolatbek2681 yeah but the enemy carry is garantued free farm untill you are 7, i feel like if you are not in danger of dying and playing against low HP agi hero you could do 1 point in reactive armor and go full bonkers dps, not saying the meta build is wrong but if you follow it every game you will miss out

@@icata12345 i assure you, only few carries are fine with timber that autoattacks them anytime hes near because you cannot just get him off Str carries suffer from Even lvl 1 whirling death And, he becomes dangerous upon getting ulti which does most of the damage anyways Edit: almost forgot, while first 6 lvl's you may give them so called "free farm" it is usually not that critical, especially if you bully them out at lvl 6

Your BH should never have been in your lane. Timber needs solo lane. At 6 with arcane boots no one can stay in lane vs Timber. You could have killed Sven 3 or 4 times before the first time you touched thier tower. 2 2 1, Ult at 6, Spin at 7. then roam as needed. Chain is your catch up or escape. You can spin WHILE chaining.

Wow dude. This one reeeeally hurt watching. You made SO many mistakes this time. Usually it's not half bad but this hero really isn't for you yet. His reposition ability always seems to get you INTO trouble. Your instinct seems to be: LETS GET IN THERE even though will dismantle you in seconds. If you would be the monster tank that you're supposed to (with shivas and bloodstone) - then it would be the correct call. But this game you were super squishy and instead of leading with the chain into them you should have let with zoning ultis and only going in when you have team support... :)

It is not useless if you know how to properly engage with ulti cuz early game reactive armor makes you almost invulnerable against all physical dmg(and to extent magical since regen) and that includes the safe tower diving that no other hero can do that early
