I was never above legend 5 my friend and playing since january 2013. Most of the time I play solo que. I feel its like easier when you play with friends who already are high bracket divine/immortal you will get it sooner or later too.

I knew it that you had it in you to get this far! It was thanks to you that I refocused my intention to reach Immortal and not just half heartedly be content hitting 5k. After 5 months of serious grinding I myself hit Immortal but I started at low 4k back then and also I've been playing Dota 2 since 2014. I can't imagine starting from literally knowing nothing to hitting Immortal in just a year and few months. You are a treasure and a breath of fresh air to the Dota community and I wish you all the more success that you can and will achieve in the future. @@raycharlesvillaruel8784 All of us have, the ones that are sweaty ranked players, to some extent do that but I for sure don't always have the nerve to rewatch a frustrating loss especially ones I played badly. Grubby's seemingly immune to tilt and I may think that I try to be PMA most of the time, I am certainly not immune to tilt and bad loses from previous games do definitely impact how well I play the next queued up game.

It was a matter of time. Warcraft 3 is more hardcore and difficult game than Dota. The amount of micro and constant focus needed in Warcraft 3 is insane to be a pro player. After years of Dota I went back to play some Warcraft 3 reforged and I was shocked how it was a more demanding game.

A testament on how attitude and consistency beats skill any time of the day. Grubby has achieved Immortal rank even while making a whole bunch of rookie mistakes in every single match even nowadays. You can have skill, and you'll stay in low ranks if you have bad attitude and approach to the game. Not saying that Grubby doesn't have skill, what I'm saying is that his skill is far bellow the skill of an average Immortal player.

You know what, for me, the game before you gained the "immortal badge" would be the best game I've watched. You were laning with spec and spec blames you for not baby sitting. Damn, For me that reached immortal after 10 years+ in Dota and had 13k+ hours in the game reaching Immortal is my biggest life achievement because for me, I know reaching Immortal in this game is so hard and its not easy. So I could confidently said that you really are so good in game, or maybe also in real life.. Congrats on reaching immortal!
