You can't say that to any team. If there was no TI on 2021 everyone will say the same to LGD. "If there was a TI on 2021 LGD would win it" it is just not guaranteed even if you're the strongest to the eyes of the majority

yeah 2020 happened, they were stomping all the major tournaments that time, that they even decided to take a break because of boredom winning every grand finals (dont take my word), if only TI was held that time, maybe they had a higher chance winning, but who knows xd

Secret got cursed after Shanghai Major when they kicked w33 & Misery. So they never had a chance to win TI ever, no matter how solid the roster they had after then. So the 2016 cursed remained

Sure, Wings was undeniably great but who knows if Puppey keep W33 & Misery in Secret, instead of brought in Rtz & Bulba, they would be the finalist against Wings instead of DC and could have been the first team to win Major & TI in a same year. W33 & Misery had a memorable journey with DC but they were even better with Secret, prior to TI.

2019-2022 Nisha really deserves that TI no questions, but not today with his current performance. 2022-present Quinn definitely deserves a TI win, his current performance is like Nisha but better. Even Nisha said it himself that he hates playing against Quinn because of how methodical he plays. Honorable mention is Malrine, give him more tier1 experience and I can see him dethrone Quinn like how Quinn dethroned Nisha as the King of mid in EU.
