Storm spirit was probably the most broken hero with the old Bloodstone, which used to gain permanent charges for every kill and each charge would give you mana regen. So there was a point where you could infinitely ult and considering your ult makes you invulnerable, there would be an invulnerable dude just damaging you constantly if he wanted. Granted it was hard to get to that point and it was very fun, but probably not very interactive.

I didn't know Eragon had that kind of Magic system which is very unique and interesting for me. It's probably the movie's fault that I had no good impression about the series.

It's not unique at all. It was, before Eragon was published, it only appeared in Earthsea(great trilogy, done really dirty by modern woke hacks of tv writers) saga books. But the kid who wrote Eragon didn't just plagiarize those books, he ripped other sources off as well. If his parents hadn't been rich and self published the thing. I doubt it would have seen the light of day.

the druid of the talon is voiced by Michael Bell, who is the voice of Medivh. That is not Michael Bell. He has a very distinct velvety voice. Storm Spirit is voiced by the same guy who does the TF2 Sniper. John Patrick Lowrie.

I used to spam this hero religiously when i saw sumail chase a spirit break running away as a storm spirit It was so epic. Made me play nothing but ss for weeks before i finally gave up Hero to hard to be good at

It's wasn't that hard back in the days when bloodstone charges were a thing. Really not that hard, cause storm was too OP. But now with much more limited mana it got harder to play SS, and that's why you don't see him as often, and thats a good thing)

The coolest thing about storm is the remnants, zoom in to the hero and use remnant you can see the cool poses he does, there are bunch of poses he does :D

Storm is the hero that changed the most in terms of item builds since the changes to the game thats why people almost never use storm now

The main changes were bloodstone rework, null talismans and kaya not providing mana cost reduction, and overall reduction of mana regen on items. I consider this was intentional to nerf storm without actually touching the hero. He is now much more limited in mana, but still possible to fly more than half-map in lategame with 25 talent remnants..

A good efficiency move while farming in the jungle is to let your remnant finish the creeps off while you're walking away towards the next camp. Then you have an overload charge for your first attack on that next camp. Small things add up.

I think since the eblade change, most people (low ranked) still don't know the possibility of witch blade kaya into eblade brooch, I saw it in the chat "don't buy eblade, you won''t be able to hit them" it's a pretty deadly combo on right clicking int heroes such as puck, storm, void spirit, etc

Brooch is mostly too expensive and too situational item.. For that solid 6200 gold you can buy a couple useful items like euls, bkb, shiva, orchid, etc. Eblade into brooch is mostly a meme build, it really works only when a high-ranked player goes into low-ranked or unranked)

yeah that works fine...in herald, because the moment you buy both of these items you are either already stomped because you had no useful items for fights or for safety or its deep late where nobody lets you just eblade and attack them

...Man, back in the day, 2013/2014ish....fighting storm spirit was like fighting an agent in the matrix. Impossible to hit/catch/evade from. I saw a storm spirit 1v5 people in games with little to no effort. I dont know if he's still that broken or if they fixed his mana consumption/damage output, but it was pretty ridiculous.

I have a pretty unique build for this hero, although its pretty expensive, you need 22k gold for it or so. Ethereal, Brooch and bloodstone. Basically you just charge into a hero using bloodstone and brooch and also using ethereal on the target, you have 5 magic attacks, magic poison, magic remnant and magic passive, all that amplified with ethereal and all of that gives you mana through bloodstone. It can kill almost anyone even with big hp and magic resistance (not with spell immunity of course) and after a kill you have full mana.

you know the funny thing? you weren't even that far off with the Branch-Aghs-Refresher build a few months ago, the actual best build (that was consistently winning professional games) was literally 6 null talismans into immediate Aghanim's BLESSING (the 6k gold one that you consume), and then refresher orb At the time, null talismans gave both mana regeneration, as well as mana regen amplification, so they were extremely gold-to-mana efficient and allowed storm to basically zip all the way across the map without burning out

It's cute, that you think that Eragon is some groundbreaking literature. When the kid who wrote it ripped the magic system pretty much 1 to 1 from Earthsea books. He borrowed a lot from other sources as well. Pretty sure he only got it published, because his parents were bigshots in publishing world or rich or both. It's kind of sad to me, that better, original works get forgotten as derivatives get pushed on the new audience who don't have much curiosity to look past what's advertised to them.

Storm thrives on gangs and solo kills, especially if you made orchid. The way you are spending time farming your jungle is actually detrimental to your team because carry is supposed to farm those while you are killing enemies and keep enemy attention far from your jungle.

Hey grubby, one interesting thing, the fact that nobody plays him nowdays is because of changes in items, as the game is changing a lot he is missing the mana regen he needs, for many years bloodstone gave 200% regen amp and now the best u can get is 75% from eblade

Grubby always takes stats over anything else in the talent builds I've noticed. The title of the video is grubby spends all his mana but he took 20 attack speed on an intellect hero with his items being soul ring and bottle instead of extra mana regen. I know this is negative critisism which I don't deal with very well myself and I'm sorry for that Grubby, just an observation I wanted to point out. If it was me I would have toook the extra 1.5 mana regen as a talent over the 20 attack speed. Storm spirit is a mana using hero not really attack speed based thats just my opinion. But it seems like he always takes raw stats over anything else, like strength agility or intellgence or attack speed or damage over mana regen or HP regen or movement speed or whatever. I still love his streams and watch them everyday. Super funny guy and very positive and a great streamer, thanks for the good content and I will continue watching!! :D

This guy relies on quick combo actions. Max out overcharge first, w/ level 1 of everything, or you will never have enough mana to pull out a meaningful combo, till you are more geared. By the way, your images have flying POV, fairly small though.

i am convinced Grubby fakes incompetence at this point, theres no way he wasnt seeing that zaping around eats all his mana constantly, then TPing to base, with a haste rune and then walking to lane without using it,... i have no explanation,. I think he figured out at this point we love the cringe, and it's so nice to see him fail. He kinda confirmed it when he trolled and got the Stormcrafter over the Relic....at the end. (4 mana regen guys!) xD

Fun fact: Before it was revamped to what it is now, people used to buy 6 null talisman as their only item for the duration of the game. This is because before it reduced your mana cost to abilities and items, and after 25 minutes it doubled the stats on the item and the reduction in mana cost, it was basically like playing dota imba.
