Grubby these games were beyond epic. Would you consider doing a breakdown analysis of why you won and also why you lost (4th game). I felt the 5th game on echo hill the fast fiend build was a hard counter to the grubby FS + HH build. Not much you could do then on such a small map with no map control.

I also felt that by the 5th game Happy had figured Grubby's strat out and punished it hard. The 1st game I think Happy was a bit caught off guard.

Hey Grubby, I rewatched show match from Happy's perspective. The adjustment he made was tech before any fiends, and engage in fight before you berserker!

Amazing amazing series. Really loved it, it was incredible to see you take on 2-0 Happy. I suppose he really never faced the new FS+HH strategy from you =D spoilers ahead. I would like to join in the discussion on what could have been done differently to snatch the overall win (it was so close!). I believe that he kinda figured out that you were doing some crazy evasion creeping which really allowed you to get in the lead imo. In game 4 and 5 he keeps creep-jacking you multiple times. Definitely better map awareness could improve the odds. Also, his DK is always below 50% life. While he did have death pact, he lacked mana many times and to me it looked like a clear target. Of course you probably will not be able to kill the DK but at least u 1 buy time to get T3 tech / expo, 2 make him spend gold to heal him (probably would buy a healing potion if he wants to safely and quickly be back in the map), 3 possibly make him buy another TP with a hypothetical total investment of around 500g 4 maybe get lucky and get the kill. Otherwise micro + coil nova silence skellies can really snowball the fight. Short fights seems to be better despite your insane dmg output. I feel like his fiends and hero micro is insane and his strong point, together with amazing map awareness and perfect understanding of how to maximize utility of heroes. Maybe you should not try to compete there (UD heroes > ORC heroes) and get the win otherwise? Really just trying to analyze to provide constructive feedback, I am huge fan and I have been following you since forever. GGs and thank you for the entertainment during all these lockdown days!

I feel opposite when he has higher level heroes he won so I think he should keep up on heroes maybe even get SH for healing but not sure undead is so hard to kill it’s nuts

Once that fight initiated at 13 minutes into the video up until the point where Happy's DK gets surrounded and escapes, I fell asleep. Pretty much knew that this was the type of high level play that Grubby was dealing with. Very gg's non the less. Insanely glad that WC lives until this day.

Grubby way better than all expectations, Game four as a former wc3 player i can say you could play more greedy at the late game and you could make it a run race on the expands , waiting for Tc 6 with kiting but you were looking for glorious victory. I wish after this game U understand how good player you are and find your way back into tournaments again. In comparison with lyn who plays many tournaments you were better in my opinion. Great job , looking forward to it.

I thought you had it darn...Exceptional games.I think you need use the wolfes for scouting or buy some orbs after t2 to not get backstabbed when creeping.The build is superior to fiends build only with good control of the map.

1st game, if 1# Spirit wolves harass expo and 2# Main army hit and run could be done perfectly when Grubby has the control of center base, he could win.

danton Kull you are right. His army don’t have robust unit so his hero is targeted and died again and again. wolf instead of lightning. It would also make big difference.

@@peterbrad9727 Also, it was depressing looking at those Beserkers unsuccessfully trying to take that UD Expo down and then seeing the UD army coming down to stomp him when he barely got the Ziggurat down to half health......lol I thought that Grubby had made a comeback and got a good chance of winning when he took the mid goldmine. But I guess his basetrade ability was severely lacking lol.

Happy would have still targeted the berserkers for quick kills for Dark Minions from the DR, Taurens would have been surrounded by skeletons and killed off, same as the TC only worse because they don't have stomp to help escape. He couldn't deal with DR snowballing through rapid kills, and once his army got thinned out the first couple of times Happy started aggressively hitting the heroes. Maybe some Shamen to purge the dark minions would have helped, I think purge is an instant kill on them, and Grubby could have gotten more XP without having to target his berserkers onto the minions. As it was there were a few times where dark minions were getting free hits while Grubby tried to take down the more significant threats. As it stands UD hero nuke + DR dark minions are almost a hard counter to this strategy. It was obviously more effective when Happy went Pitlord than when he had DR in the mix.

GRUBBY Greetings from India, fantastic series, but I have 2-3 questions 1. WHY NO BLOODLUST OR SPIRIT LINK? NOT EVEN ONCE (I am in no way trying to teach you how to play, I consider you God) 2. DK Fiend is so ground oriented, maybe a surprise wind rider or 2 would have thrown him off? 3. In the last game, at the time of your surprise TC reveal, 44:54 would have been a great time to stomp both DK and Lich and perhaps do some damage, no(at the very least the Lich)? They both had no mana so there would have been little hesitance due to coil/nova Phenomenal games, I watched live on Happy's stream as well, to see the undead side. He's also very good, massive respect to you both!

Yo everyone. Great games. I have a question for advanced players: how do you use the "patrol" command effectively in a micro battle? My guess to move the unit and a rally on patrol so it comes back in the fight, although that can be done without the patrol command. Am I missing something?

Is the score finally 2-3 because on the right side of the screen it was displayed score of today 0-4 ? Anyway those 5 matchs were very solid from Grubby. In the fourth match too bad that undead heroes are intrinsically superior (except BM) than orcs'. But here FS is the right choice and the difference was made by few details. Keep up the good work Grubby :=). Anyone like me who think that speed scroll is the best (efficiency/cost) item in the game ?

When warcraft3 was dead, Happy played SC2 at pro level, and trained so much that people were joking "when you are sleeping happy is training". Now his effort paid off, that's all.

@@amai2307 when you're good at SC2 and play it at the top level, warcraft 3 suddenly becomes easier for you cuz SC2 is a faster game with higher necessary APM. so that's why he's so good.

He is the most tanky target at the army, and he can heal himself at 4+ lvl.

Really fantastic matches. Why does happy keep focusing down the TC tho. seems like a huge investment to take it down only for it to be repurchased again. Wouldnt it be better to just murder the spear bois?

I mean in high level WC3 if you lose your main heroes it’s almost always GG unless you’re trading heroes with the opponent, exp and high levels on heroes is just as important if not more important than your army so you cannot allow for your opponent to gain that much experience by killing your heroes

you had won on the big map, playing strategy you were beating him ... then you gave him too much recovery time and he was able to bring his heroes to level 4, 4, 5 ... in this case the hero besides being more robust, it also becomes more harmful thanks to the BURST of lich and Dk ... this allowed him to recover everything he had lost in the beginning. At least seeing that match I saw this ... you had to be more incisive on the end, the choice to be the 3 curator hero you had after in the last match was good, but it was fine for the match before it had a bigger map , in the last happy match he expected it and in fact he played offensive especially attacking the curator hero who was also frail In my opinion you have not made big mistakes, when you play well you are devastating. im beginner ths is only my noob opinion.
