It is not a problem if you know that it will dissapear once you have your own win con. it was a single unit. The opponent was hoping for your line of thinking. notice how he only added mustangs a counter to wasps once he saw more storm callers and an overlord. 2 things the mustangs that counter the wasps can mitigate. He got more mustangs the wasps died and he won the game. Now imagine if. As soon as he saw the wasps he went mustangs. The tarantulas would have FEASTED!

@@EchoObserver9 That is what I think as well. Just like I used 3 sets of storm callers to bait my opponent to press the anti-missile bottom on his 4 sets of mustangs. Then I mass warps to overrun his board in the next turn.

Few people know this, but Grubby actually can't see anything above his head. It's a tragic medical condition. He tries to look up to see what is killing all of his forces and it's just completely black.

Hackers are excellent but the developers didn't remove high level hackers from drops because of winrate, but because of the insane amounts of salt they generated from defeated players. Don't listen to the hacker haters.

If captured units didn't do damage it would be easier to balance hackers. As they are they can swing a close game into a ton of damage and that's not really fun. Imo

They removed high level hackers because people could shield cheese with them. You saw how high a shield bubble they can emit at a high level. This way you have to invest in them for a while until they have high shields.

Tried playing this game like six months ago, got frustrated and uninstalled it. Now after watching your videos and learning some strategies, I've started playing again and its much more enjoyable. Getting genuinely addicted to the game now.

Players behave like hackers don't exist and complain when they are reminded that they are very real. Joke's on them. Punishing lack of chaff and over-reliance on big GROUND units is more than fair for the price of hackers and it's techs.

I like hackers, but it feels like they need 2 upgrades minimum to work. Often 3. But they are the best barrier spam unit in the game with extra deployments.

Hackers are really good behind a mixed line of sledges and fangs. Add a few sabretooths (if possible) and maybe a couple tarantulas for tanking and chaff clear. Use some snipers for backline AA and damage. Very nice combo if your opponent doesn't use air or much chaff, don't get the hackers until the mid-game though, don't want to encourage your opponent to use air early.

Thank you Grubby for all the Mechabellum content. I haven't ever played the game, but really enjoy watching you play it. I even prefer it over warcraft3 since the games can get quite intense and Mechabellum is more laid back which means we get more of your mental process, which I love! Thank you for all of your videos

Have you tried the 4 player brawl mode yet? It's quite interesting, and different enough from the 1v1 to be worth trying out at least once.

50:40: We all know if this list were accurate Direct Strike would be at the top 😏 Also, @Grubby, if you like Slay the Spire a lot you should try Alina of the Arena. I found it liked it even more, because it's the same sort of deck-builder but with the added strategy of positioning, on a 2D field. It's really satisfying.

Is it correct that mustangs have lost out after new units were added due to more options for high armor units now?

I think mustangs are best used to chew through -on hit nullification- effects that have stacks. Also, Once was red, now they're blue, wololo coming for you.

Mustangs always where shit but kinda broadly applicable, they never where a perfect choice but if they are enough, then that's enough and as soon as you solve one problem with em they passively cover for a lot of potential problems which makes em neat. Never used em I play a lot with arc lights and they are my fav unit and they do everything mustang does and more on a higher investment aside from being resistant to focus fire but that job is perfect done by crawlers. I think grubby uses movements peed well but doesn't account for range enough so are many players which they are accounting for more and more so mustangs become more ass.
