Grifter has more powers than gambit. He has telekinesis and telepathy and also healing factor and better hand to hand fighter and a master level weapon user

Correction Gambit can insert a large amount of kinetic energy into his cards but because the cards are small, faster to charge and easier to carry he prefers using them. Gambit charms only works on ppl who do not know about them, catching them off guard or if they are weaker minded than himself. Gambit doesn’t stand still either which he is known to be a hard target to hit and has even dodged Bullseye sneak attack plus Gambit can charge living organisms such as ppl with one simple touch. Gambit is also high resistant to telepathy like Storm. I like Grifter but I’m sure Gambit takes this

I have to disagree, Gambit is far to powerful, he is ranked as small island to island level in attack potency, while Grifter does definitely have the skill and weapon advantage, also Gambit is a bit faster, and he can charge his cards almost instantly, while Grifter does like range Gambit has the speed to close the distance, so in combination with his superior power and speed, Gambit would be the winner, suggestion for the next fight would have to be Solomon Grundy vs. Juggernaut, I plan on doing it later on but I'd like to see your view of it and who you'd think would win, keep on making grudge matches!👍🏻

Question. I believe in an episode of Wolverine and The X Men, Gambit says he can't change organic objects. Is that true or is it something the cartoon came up with?

Yes and no. He can't charge living things to cause them to explode, but his powers can effect them in other ways. He has been seen charging a person's kinetic energy to make them hit harder, thus enhancing their strength. He's also been seen grabbing an opponent and charging part of their body causing them pain, but ultimately no permanent damage. Also, non-living organic things can be charged to explode. For instance, a wooden stick is organic, but he can still make it explode. I mean, playing cards are primarily paper, which is organic.

Depends on how willing Gambit is to use his powers to their potential/bust out lethal force. Guns won’t be a problem for him though.

Guns will certainly be a pretty big problem for Gambit if their gun wielder has telepathic and telekinetic powers.

But Grifter hasn't shown me anything that would indicate he's a powerful enough telekinetic to overpower Gambit's ability to manipulate kinetic energy. Telepathy is similar. It might help him aim but he isn't gonna be controlling Gambit's mind or anything and even if he knows where Gambit is gonna dodge, there's no guarantee he'll still hit him simply due to Gambit being as fast and agile as he is. . My whole point was that it depends on how willing Gambit is to really use his power. Of he's at his regular levels and won't go for anything more than a few charged cards, he'll probably lose. But Gambit really going for it would slap Grifter due to how low key overpowered he is when usinfhis powers creatively and to their fullest potential.

@@justinanderson2460 Grifter was once able to drop an entire forest's worth of trees and rocks on to his opponent. If Grifter really wanted to he could just hold Gambit's body in place and shoot him in the head or break his neck.

I usually agree with you wholeheartedly, but in this case I think you're completely wrong. 100% wrong. Physically Gambit far better combatant. Destructive potential Gambit is far better. Gambit has proven himself to be able to fight with the best fighters in marvel and often coming out on top. Guns is pretty much your main explaination and how many comics has Gambit be shown to be able to dodge and straight up deflect and return bullets. Fight goes down like this; they go back and forth and grifter (who I like a lot) realizes his guns don't work and he's losing the long game goes to psychic powers. Gambit hits him with some major damage and he goes for broke in hand to hand and Gambit dances around him enhances his strength and staff and lands a kill shot. End of fight.

giftofgab247 if you read comic bullyseye didn’t beat him. Remi was poisoned, days without sleep and had been hunted and fighting assassins off for days. Bullseye turns up and beats a 24% capable gambit

I partly disagree, here's why Weaponry won't do much against Gambit, he is an actual marksman and has great experience. Grifter would still win, but Gambit has probably better melee due to his skill and his staff but if Grifter gets angry he can use his telekinisis and can just beat Gambit

Frankly, you don't need Grifter's early feats. He seems much more powerful currently in DC. I only mention his Wildcats origins for backstory. It really lends nothing to his credit to help him receive the win here.
