I was in the Army Reserve from 1986-1992 and I saw a lot of this sort of yelling and beasting. Most of the blokes who copped the wrath actually had issues like ADHD, low IQ or being mildly autistic. Kett shows all the signs of someone with ADHD while the Thomson twins show signs of being mildly autism with possible BPD.

I was a draftee. At 67 I never forgot. Simple thing like miss spelling my name name on my boot iner liner. Once burned in it never goes away

I suffer with anger issues and I can see myself doing something similar. I can be the nicest person you have ever met and will be unless given due reason to be otherwise. Its not a nice life and you tear your self apart everyday not sure weather to rip someo es head off or curl up into a ball. Upbringing has a massive role to play and I had a tough one. I try everyday to be better but, its hard to kick habits I have had for 20 years. Hope these men are doing better at dealing with the memories they remember everyday.

They should have tossed the twins out, their toxic behavior is infecting the platoon.

Disgraceful and outrageous attitudes towards the NCOs whom have the best interests of the recruits at heart.

Sgt Edwards looked rather hurt because the Brown Twins gave nothing but abuse to his staff. I'm amazed that Alan Brown continued while is twin Luke was discharged and gave Mark Sheridan a mouthful at the assault course!

I find what you said pretty much true.If this was to be 100% real copy of the 50's British Army, majority of them would spend a major part of the day feasting like hell. Not only that but probably the whole section would have to do the same just put those lads in a propper manner to act as a decent soldier

That's exactly what the army want, they need to break you so they can build you back up again. The army is just about realigning an individuals psychology.
