There are some great inexpensive guitars being made today. I bought an Alvarez AD60 a few ago for $200 and it looks and sounds great and is very durable. Point is you don't need to spend $50,000 on a good guitar.

I am attempting to approach Gruhns Guitar shop to see if you would consider a Gibson Chet atkins number f 001 silk and wire semi acoustic/electric thin line electric guitar made in Kalamazoo Mich by Gibson to have any significance at all. It is autographed and signed by chet with letter of authentication. Plus a few minor considerations. I would appreciate if you could contact my e mail or leave a message directly to my reply here. I have it and it s in very good shape, it s not emaculate but still very good. Built circa 1977. Purchased locally If you leave me a contact designated place or the number for your store I will contact you as soon as possible. I do understand that Gibson had made a couple versions of the chet atkins classical guitars both in the form of acoustic and acoustic electric. Thank you wiith much respect Jed Taylor.
