Grumpy Old Men (1993) is a heartwarming comedy about two lifelong neighbors and rivals, John Gustafson (Jack Lemmon) and Max Goldman (Walter Matthau). The pair spends their days bickering, playing pranks, and competing over nearly everything. However, their long-standing feud escalates to new heights when a charming and free-spirited widow, Ariel Truax (Ann-Margret), moves in across the street, catching both their eyes.
As the competition for Ariel's affection intensifies, the two men find themselves confronting old grudges and the realities of aging, friendship, and love.
