wouldnt it be smarter to spawn the marines clumped in the middle or one side with a few running point/side to pull the reaper grenades, plus reapers up front and back so you get 2 seperate grenade disruptions instead of just 1?

True, but that's basically giving up the PvP. Immortals always win against archons

@@Kragh50 the thing is that pvp doesn't matter when you are constantly hitting zerg that slaughters your wave and proceeding to kill your team as well. Better to mitigate the damage from zerg that wipes you until you get back to pvp

@@luechang9436 I mean, you aren't wrong that archons would be good to clean the muta. My point is that sometime you just have to build against your wave and hope your teammate will eventually break the offset. There's no way he's ever going to push back if be build against zerg in a PvP. Then again, just looking at the players I already knew GrumpyKittens would win.

Got to say Top team really have a thinker. Been playing this mode for a while, can't really understand the logic of not getting the gas. If you are being pressed back, you got to get the gas while trying to weather the assault. Ain't no way you can stay alive if you just 1 gas when enemy are pushing u into the corner. It's either lose or win and not building extra gas is the same accepting a lost. If you are winning and they are in a corner but you can't push further since you are fighting on the nexus, then you got to get extra gas. The fact that you pushed them into a corner mean you have room to build more gas and push on. Even if enemy manage to push you back because you invest gas your eco is now better than them. It's insane so many people think not getting gas is logical thinking.

Players gain an income bonus while they own the middle. The income bonus for the team is equal to 6 gas extractors. By spending minerals on gas extractors, players are at a mineral deficit for several minutes, effectively surrendering the middle bonus. By surrendering the middle income bonus, players are deciding to lose their wave AND have a significantly lower income than their opponents.

@@Incursus If you are already fighting in your Nexus, how do you intend to fight back the enemy to get the middle bonus? Keep relying on 1 gas?

@@Weigazod You have to take advantage of other team using a lot of minerals in gas-ing up while you use those minerals to make a come-back and control middle/kill bunker.
