Good Afternoon Amy! Love the idea on folding your papers, what I do is fold them to make a top tuck pocket too, which you do in an altered book. I even folded up a small portion of the angled paper and glue together and paper was thick enough to attached a grommet for a dangle. Hope you understand this…lol. Love the cover, you should make a copy of it and incorporate in the journal or even better my printer lets me print on fabric and plain printer rice paper, I don’t know if your printer does. I love this grunge journal! Very cool! It took me a while to get out of my comfort zone & not do everything precise & even etc. But over a few yrs. I have gotten better at it. Hi Amy that looks awesome What an amazing idea . I agree with you music helps alot with math skills. My 3 kids were involved with music and band. My oldest son was also a great singer so we put him in private voice lessons at the suggestion of his music teacher and surprise He had great benefit to his asthma from the voice training. Our youngest our girl actually was a whiz at math,loved calculus and played trumpet in band for a couple years. She tutored in calculus in high school and university. Those fibrous papers are easy to tear if you draw a line on them with a water pen. Let it soak a few seconds and tear away! ChristinesJournals

Just discovered your channel and love the thorough "beginning to end" videos like this that go through every step - thank you for that! Your one signature grunge journal is awesome and It gave me lots of inspiration. I do have a question though - would it not help to secure the cut apart cover pieces and added thicker spine piece to your work surface with small pieces of easily removed scrapbooking tape or Frog painter's tape to solve the moving around issue while working on the inside of the covers, etc.? Really, really love all the different types of paper and mixed media applications you used on this project. Learned some new things for sure! Will definitely be following your channel.
