I remember reading an old historical fiction novel in the early 80's called The Berkut. In the novel, the Soviets capture Hitler alive at the end of the war, then bring him back to Moscow. Stalin has him imprisoned in something similar to a Vietnam War era tiger cage, this one being suspended from the ceiling, in a dungeon far beneath the Kremlin. He is fed and kept alive, but essentially lives like an animal, never bathing nor being groomed, or even being acknowledged by the guards. Over the years he is driven insane and ends up becoming a true physical beast, having lost all semblance with a human being. Every so often Uncle Joe would come down to the dungeon to stare at him for a few minutes. Years later, minutes after Stalin dies, a guard opens the cage and breaks Hitler's neck, as per Stalin's decree. It was quite the read.

Interesting video, you put a lot in 7 minutes. Two things. 1. It's become clear that the Soviets never found the Hitlers' (Adolf and Eva) remains. Historian Mark Felton did a series of videos about the disposal of the remains and it's certain they never found the actual burial site, which appears to have been a mass grave not far from the bunker. What's more the Soviets knew that and hastily dug up and disposed of the remains they had in the 1970s when questions began to be asked about their account. 2. Yes, Churchill wanted the Nazi leaders executed after the war rather than a show trial. He felt it would be much more honest and less hypocritical.

There's always this theory that Hitler escaped to Argentina in 1945 and lived for another 20 years, as the Argentinians were also hiding Eichmann and Mengele and Juan Peron was sympathetic to Nazism. However, someone in his entourage would have probably let the Israelis or the Russians know for a fee and Hitler would have been captured in Argentina or possibly assasinated. Yet I doubt, had Hitler tried to escape, he would have got very far as the city was largely in Russian hands and he would have been captured or shot.

Evil is as evil does, evil has its options & choices in which to flourish, when good people do nothing, but remember even his own cohorts, & citizens wanted him dead by the end, most people are not evil as he, nor be given just reason to be... This is a very rare contagion that got so out of control, at least good men killed it, & beat it in the end, warning - don't have it again...
