While his buddy w/more resilient to cancer lung cells could smoke a pack a day & live to 110yo & die of old age, but unfortunately he liked well done red meat everyday ,& his colon cells weren't resilient enough to be unaffected by all that blackened beef & he died of colon cancer shortly after, still smoking on his deathbed. Rarely cancer is 100% Environmental, like following Chernobyl nuclear accident. No human or animal DNA is safe from prolonged nuclear fallout exposure.
