To be honest, I saw the license plate in the second episode and thought Gideon was just being pretentious calling him Stanford. That just everyone knew his name was Stanley. You would not believe how confused I was when the twin reveal was revealed and everyone called Ford Stanley before the new season dropped and we found out Stan was pretending to be Ford. The "Broom" scene always gets me laughing, partly because of the vastly contrasting attitudes between the two of them: Gideon acts like it's a Sherlock Holmes vs. Moriarty- esque duel of wits, while Stan acts like a raccoon or a possum just got into the Shack for the umpteenth time and needs to be driven out.
