@@dkracingfan2503 The problem isn't Microsoft, Rare just ran out ideas for banjo. Rare is like valve where they don't makes squeals for the sake of it. Kinda like earthbound.

@@orangeslash1667 There were other factors than that though, Microsoft is by no means in the clear regarding the fate of this duo. Even if its not stated directly, there was an issue with the management style at Microsoft vs Nintendo. The character "L.O.G" mostly personifies this, with statements about shooters and car games, and how platformers have gone "out of date".

@@sonyman344 The problem is cartoony games didn't sell well on xbox.

@@orangeslash1667 Like I said earlier, there were many reasons for Rare's downfall, and shouldering the blame on Rare or Microsoft alone would be too harsh on either party tbh. Rare did not deliver enough products for Nintendo to buy them up fully (Beyond the 10 % share they owned), and Rare could not survive alone without a company to "live under". This lead to the Microsoft acquisition, which gave us Nuts and Bolts and later Sea of Thieves. And while Nuts and Bolts was a good game on its own, despite feeling devoid of content in the game worlds and leaning far too heavy into the car building and racing (more or less ignoring the platforming roots of the series), it was not the final part of the current trilogy we were waiting for, which made the title itself a disappointment out the door. It should have been a sidegame, not a main title. Microsoft on their end tried the old model of buying talent, without really understanding what kind of environment that nurtured forth those winning titles (ex. Banjo kazooie) to begin with (Nintendo's quality focus VS Microsofts focus on pushing out titles). They needed a company like Rare to expand the platforming part of their gaming catalogue, but forced upon Rare the same corporate BS that most big western companies rolls with (Ex. Activision and EA). This lead to the creation of a "car game", which totally contradicted the original wish of making a platformer title. Also like you said, cartoony titles with the whole Nintendo vibe was not something Microsofts core audience were used to, and the company had little experience with handling this gaming genre in general, which just furthered to the less than stellar handling of Rare as a developer. The company has since acclimatized to Microsoft's structure, but the people that made magic back in the Nintendo 64 days are long gone, and the bear and bird stay in hibernation under a current boss that do not want to touch the original IP's with a 10 foot pole. It was ultimately a set of unfortunate events , that's all. Microsoft simply did not have the experience needed to allow Rare the growth it needed, and the staff at Rare likely did not handle the more corporate structure well, even if their statements say otherwise (Dodging the question).

Dude this was really well put together plus it really looked like you know how to use Banjo! :D A lot of people who do Banjo & Kazooie Montages don't even know how to use Breegull Blaster optimally not to mention, the editing in this was such a good throw back to the game itself!!! ^-^
