Lube had better serves which made them win the first 3 sets by a narrow margin. But in all other aspects they were equals with Zaksa having a bit better defence. Great game. The scores were so close!

Such a great match! Hope Zaksa goes all the way to the finals and takes the championship! Kinda feel bad for Simon tho, he's usually so composed and calm, but he seemed so pumped in this game and really wanted to win.

There is no more Final four tournaments. Since 2019 there are 2 quaterfinals for a team, 2 for a team semifinals and 1 Grand final which is played in one day, male's and female's finale.

If you want to know the difference between De Cecco and Bruno, look at his reaction to the ace on the libero @ 4:28 . Bruno would have gone to support and lead his team, which is what Lube is lacking this season in my opinion.

That was the second leg. Zaksa won 3:0 in the first one and there had to be a "golden set" to find the winner.

WHAT IS A GOLDEN SET? WHAT'S THE PURPOSE OF IT? I thought Lube won this match because of the 3-0 and then it turns out that Zaksa came out as the victor. Advance thanks for those who will reply. 😊

Zaksa had won the previous game against Lube 3-0. Now that the teams were tied 1-1 in games, CEV decided a golden set would be necessary to determine the winner between the two teams

Golden set is played when there's a tie after two matches. When team wins 3:0 or 3:1 they get 3 points, opponents 0. When it is 3:2, winners gets 2 points, losers 1. First match won ZAKSA - 3:1 so they got 3 points, second match won Lube 3:0, they also got 3 points. So there was a tie. To determine a winner both teams had to played set "extra" - golden set. ZAKSA won it, so they advanced to semifinals.

First game was 3-1 for Zaksa. When you count pts for their wins it was 3:3. That’s why they had to play the decisive, golden set.

How? They lost the first game, now they won so golden set decided. It was very close. Also clearly there was a huge ref mistake and also zaksa's when they didnt take challange and it was clear in the replays they should have get an important point because of a block (even Śliwka showed Grbić to not take the challange which is really strange when in replays it showed the block).

No, they shouldn't. You clearly don't know the rules in CL. Both teams had 3 points after two matches. There was a tie, that's why they had to played golden set. Italians lost it and thats why they're out of the tournament.

The basis is a point ratio not the numbers of sets won by the team
