Perry) - Nineteen Letters * Tia Louise - The Way We Touch * Sophia Travers - Partner Material * Silvia Moreno-Garcia - Mexican Gothic & The Seventh Veil of Salome * Brenda K. Davies - The Shadow Realms Series Even though we have different tastes in books genres, I usually can find a new recommendation to read from your roundups. Gives me a new book to try since your reviews are always honest.

I really like most of Freida McFadden’s books. I liked The Inmate, Never Lie, The Housemaid, The Teacher, One by One, The Coworker, Ward D, and Do Not Disturb. I was not crazy about the second and third book in the housemaid series unfortunately. 📚

I read The teacher and you were right, it was icky 😅 but at least the ending was satisfying. AGGGTM series was sooo good! I loved it. Next I want to get The Silent Patient, I love thrillers at the moment 😅

My five star reads for June were Before the Coffee Gets Cold; Annie Bot; Then She was Gone; Plum Spooky: In the Tall Grass, Final Girls and My Best Friend's Exorcism. Read a total of 28 books/story stories. I also read The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying a Vampire. All of the characters were terrible and their relationships were trash. But, I also liked the mystery aspect and how it was solved. My favorite part of the book were the descriptions of the scenery and the generl way of life reminded me of living in the South. I loved that part of the book. I liked this book more than The Final Girl Support Group which I also read in June. Just could not connect with the main character but overall a good book with great plot twist.

I never read the City of Bones series but I watched the show Shadowhunters which was based off the show and THANKFULLY Jace and Clary end up not actually being brother and sister. Whew! I absolutely LOOOOVED the show so I may have to read the series.

Enjoyed this share. I have just finished Court of Thorns and Roses book series. Was great . I have seen Bridgerton series and just finished Queen Charlotte on netflix. Enjoyed them. Next books I am looking at Fire Bound by Christine Feehan & No and Me by Delphine De Vigan. Lets see how they unfold. As for makeup I am enjoying Yucca palette by ND as its a nice winter vibe. I'm in Australia so we are mid winter.

In Bridgeton books - I find it's easier to get behing fake dating as it's Daphnes second season, in series it's shown as problem, when there is no problem yet. Regarding The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires - I agree so much with your feeling about not caring about characters - I couldn't stand her husband, and kinda rest was meh.

Read Never Lie by Freida McFadden! It’s sooo good. The Teacher was ok for me in comparison. I didn’t like the icky vibes of the school plot. Never Lie was amazing.

I am curious if the bridgerton books have been updated. I watched the first season of the show, loved it and then grabbed the first book. It was the original printing. It was fine. Standard typical romance with none of the race issues that made the show shine. I was disappointed. That was clearly an innovation from the show writers. Have they retrofit it into the new editions?

I don’t think the books have changed to my knowledge-but they’re new to me I’d never read them before. From what I understand the show has made everything much more modern & updated which I love!

I personally didn’t enjoy the duke and I or other 5 books but kind of like the last two books from the bridgeton series because the bridgeton siblings are extremely horrible person to their spouses specifically Daphne to Simon was completely unsettling and unnecessary and wouldn’t take a no for a answer and I get that everything get resolved in the end but I was completely just turn off by that and sadly the other siblings aren’t any better. But just my take on that series
