Girl I have been dealing with imposter syndrome so bad this semester and it’s my senior year AND I’m pregnant! Being back at school in your 30’s is so hard. Thankfully so many of my classmates make me feel welcome & they never make me feel alone. So it’s really just all in my head 😢

I’m not sure if it helps you (I know being pregnant is an additional struggle - good luck on your pregnancy!!) but I’m 27 and I feel so out of place at university.. most people are 18-22 and it feels so weird and wrong being there. I did a group project with 5 other people, and eventually we all talked about our ages and I naturally assumed I was the oldest in the group but I ended up being one of the youngest, and 2 of them were quite a few years older than me - my point is that it’s hard for people to tell how old you are honestly! Unless you’re in a context where age is more apparent then it is hard. Like I don’t look overly young for my age, but a couple weeks ago a girl asked me if I was still in highschool but at the same time I never get ID’d anymore? Age is weird. I’ve also encountered people who were 60+ in my classes and it makes me happy to see them there. Education is a beautiful thing!

I graduated at 31 after 2 kids, both I had while in college. At the university there were plenty older than me, even in their 70's and 80's. It took me 11 years. Just keep chugging, you'll get there. My husband is 37 and still in school for engineering. There is no age limit for education.

Im also 27 but I'm in my first year of college. Im going for a degree in cytotechnology. I relate so much with the imposter syndrome. Its been a long time since I've been in school and its harder than I thought but I'm hoping the feeling passes. We are smart and capable. We belong there!

Every so often ii buy some makeup & forget to use it. Yr passion got me up in front of the mirror w/yr routine suggestions...ii think ii get frustrated w/all the catfishing vids & wanting a natural look. It turned out better esp w/cerave's healing ointment instead of Vaseline as the base...who knew? So ty for that tip...now ii need a new eyeliner...no idea where they went...same w/hair, been avoiding doing anyrhing beyond wash & wear. Out here theres so much hijacking/kidnapping weirdness ii figure no effort means no one will look...not that ii'm even in the ballpark but the vibe gets heavy. Finally cool enough to not sweat everything off or stay indoors where no one sees. But...a little effort helps attitude. As always, you inspire me/us to make happy on purpose.

I just found your channel and I'm loving it I've been binge-watching you. Take it from someone that's almost 50 with not one single wrinkle, you do not want to moisturize your face too much because it stops your body from producing its own oils and then you get wrinkles and age faster. Moisturizer and wrinkle creams are the biggest scam out there because they actually cause wrinkles and dryness. The more you use it the more you need it.

Actually moisturising the skin prevents wrinkles. Wrinkles begin forming deep under the skin layer in your early 20s and come up to the surface as you age. If you moisturise before those wrinkles reach the top it prevents them. Ever wonder why most black people age well? Because we moisturise very well

Try washing your face an hour before bed and use Vaseline as your last step and in the morning you don’t need to wash your face or just splash of water. This should also help hydrate your face as you sleep.

Okay babes, no hate, love the makeup look, but pls pls pls pls pls DON'T BLOW ON YOUR FAKE EYELASHES, there's bacteria in our breath and mouths, and when we blow on our makeup supplies, it throws that bacteria on it, what I do is that I have a hand-fan and I fan anything I want to dry, it's safer and healthier, don't put your eye makeups anywhere near your mouth!! 😬😬🥰🥰
