hii elise!! tmrw i'm going for an open interview at my local chick fil a and i was wondering if i could ask you a couple of questions? i had a job back in october and it didn't work out so i left two months later and i've been hoping for an outside job. this will be my first time working at a chick fil a so i'm exicted but at the same time not trying to get my hopes up. my older sister is going for an interview, she's eighteen and i'm sixteen and i'm hoping and praying they'll take both of us! i loved the video! thank u xo

@@eliselewis thank you SO much! ok first question...idk if all stores are different or work the same but with ours near us i'm not sure what they would do about letting us know if we got the job or not. back in 2019 my sister went for an open interview and they never got back to her when said that they would call in a few weeks. it was june or july of that year and in the beginning of covid soo idk if that was the cause? it's not like they would have forgotten. second question...if you get the job and you want to work specifically up front will they have you do other things? i know all places are different but the restaurant i used to work at had me do everything. drive thru, call in orders, bringing food to ppl at their tables, washing dishes, closing up, assembling fast orders - things that didn't have to be cooked - in the kitchen, checking orders, things like that. basically if ppl were busy and i wouldn't be doing anything i would go do it. everything except cooking. i guess what i'm asking is do they have specific ppl for dish washing and specifics for cooking? third...if i want to work up front will i be doing all upfront things or just stay to one specific place? lol i hope i'm not bombarding you...thank u so much Elise you're such a help!!

My pleasure! 1. For me they called me back and left me a message that I was hired if I wanted the job. I had my interview early March 2020 (beginning of covid) and therefore I didn’t actually start working until late April. *Just make sure you leave an email / phone # with them to have on file bc someone has forgotten to get that from an interview at my store before🤦‍♀️ 2. CFAs generally hire people for wherever that person WANTS to work: FOH (front of house), BOH (back of house), or if they specify-both. I was hired for FOH, but after about a year wanted to learn some BOH and asked and eventually I was able to learn some BOH. I work FOH still but occasionally BOH is short staffed and I help out back there. *I personally love working a nice mix of Front & Back of house bc I love variety and the different groups of people😁 *Hope this helps
