I think that since you've become more successful, you've sort of lost touch with part of what made your channel so appealing years back. I became a fan because of all the clever thrifting ideas you had, and the way your videos were much more tailored to people without a lot of disposable income for clothing. Nowadays, I feel it's harder for me personally to get inspiration from the outfits and clothing you post because I know that all of it is designer type stuff I'd really never be able to afford if I wanted to. If you found a way to create more of a bridge between those two worlds in terms of "getting the look" of an expensive outfit, I think that would be really helpful and inspirational for someone like me, who started following you wayyyy back in the day. I personally wouldn't be able to afford the items that she suggests. But that's okay because I can go to thrift stores, Ross, Marshalls etc. for similar items. You don't have to buy exactly what she wears in the videos. You could buy similar , knock-off items at thrift stores.

yeah, that's definitely true, but there's just something about knowing the things are thrifted/ cheap and look great that makes a difference for me. i genuinely like seeing the transformation of a goodwill piece more than i like seeing a great designer item. ah well

What about a fashion video where you take a couple fashion pieces that everyone has in their closet and show ways to style them in many different ways? For example, how to style black jeans for school (casual and a little dressed up, etc), a plain white tee anywhere, etc. if that makes sense? I love your channel content btw. If I'm being honest, I really miss when I would watch your fashion videos and the clothes weren't wildly expensive. Like I could click on the link to the pieces and be like, "Hey, if I saved a little bit I could get those shoes, too!" But I get your income has changed and the range of possible fashions for you to choose from has changed, as well. It's just gotten to the point where I don't watch fashion videos in general anymore because... why bother if I can't afford any of the pieces? Of course this isn't bashing you or anything, I just hoped my opinion could help with future videos! :)

There are not very many KZbinrs I can watch where an 11 minute videos feels like 2 minutes! Love listening to what you have to say! Here are some videos ideas though: - self improvement videos (lifestyle, self-care, productivity) - minimal skincare routines, makeup routines, lifestyle - how you organize your clothes and accessories - advice videos about having a KZbin channel (there tons of subscribers that are probably trying to start their own channels) - EPIC FASHION LOOKBOOKS with a theme - more collabs with other fashion youtubers Yeah, hope that helps!

Jenn is one of those youtubers who can do no wrong in my eyes. I’ve been subscribed since Sarah and feel like I’ve grown with her even though she’s my 언니. When it comes to content I would say she’s practically infallible. Maybe it’s because her style is so unique to me and her method of presenting is so well done but Jenn you’re defo a fav . I like the fashion videos best because I can see how hard she works when it comes to the little details from the transitioning between shots to coming up with clever names for the outfits. And then the vlogs, she could honestly go grocery shopping and it would be worthy of a feature film award. Her travel vlogs make me want to see the world and record my adventures because it’s so inspiringly simple and clear. The music and little voice overs tell the perfect story whilst intentional shots project the scene. And it’s kinda sad but I don’t think I’ve met someone with such a great taste in music (obviously after myself) I honestly appreciate the links in the description box because there are so many gems. I also totally love the ‘monthly favourites’ and books/movies to watch vids because it opens people up to some awesome works. This is so long and I technically haven’t even helped by giving a suggestion and I’m not even done with the praises but you work so so hard, Jenn: and it shows. Like, your content has visibly progressed in quality, constantly. It’s never hit that plateau, which is saying something! I’m glad she mentioned self improvement with the importance of self care physically and mentally because it shows but please don’t work too hard! So much integrity and just a good human soul who cherishes her family, friends and the planet. Jenn, I really love you like one of my friends and genuinely pray for your best. Jenn, you’ve done well!

i'm an OG subscriber and i feel like i related to you more back when you were at college at UC Davis haha. obviously that has nothing to do with you! people grow up and you find that the content you watched before doesn't feel the same as it did. i think it's also because back when you started it was very natural and 'original' the way you filmed and not overly edited and just very simple. i remember when you did lookbooks and you would change up the lipstick for each outfit and include the lipstick name as part of the outfit, i loved that haha. and i agree with everyone else, i enjoyed your style and videos more when you thrifted. i think it showed off your fashion sense more. it's definitely no hate, you're in a different life phase now and of course you're going to enjoy different things. but i guess i'm still stuck in the OG days haha

I just want new fashion videos. Whenever you ask for suggestions I always think of fashion - esp themed videos even if it’s been done already like art themed lookbooks (like the video you did before where you made literal interpretations...but go with the theme of color or mood instead of replicating the outfit...) I never thought fashion videos were old fashioned or unclickable? Your past fashion videos were very helpful bc most youtubers just play music in the background and pose, but you actually explained why you chose each piece of clothing/accessory and why it would work/alternatives. Very informative. I loved those... they helped me find my style and create constructive outfits. I’m sure it will help your current and OG subscribers as well

Hey Jen! I feel like it would be nice to see fashion videos for girls of different sizes. As well as, how to look for high quality clothing when you are thrifting (I love thrifting!) ** A video where you and Ben teach us how to make your best dish, a Korean dish would be cool too! ** Go to minimalist packing for a two week vacation/ business trip.
