+Camilla Frederikke I was wondering the same thing too, because I am a dancer as well, and I always leave my face darker than the rest of my body because of the lighting, it tends to wash out your face. So I have a foundation that's one shade too dark for me that I always use for performances, as well as a super dark contour. I guess your explanation makes sense too tho haha. :) xx

First comp ever is next weekend and I have NO experience with makeup! I've been doing this for nine years with a horrible teacher who never entered us because we weren't 'good enough' and we wouldn't 'get anywhere'! She totally knocked my confidence, moved to a new dance school, been a couple of months and they're already slamming me down into the Nottingham comp! Thank you for this, I don't want to look like a naked faced prat at my first ever comp!

On February i'm going to start wearing makeup in dance competitions. I have a question: if my latin dress is black and my ballroom dress is yellow, should I wear brown and more natural eye makeup or should I go for black?! I cant dicide... btw loved the video ♡♡♡

Go for brown. Black around the eyes close them off and make them look smaller.

+Noamw Thanks so much for your lovely comment! :-) The reason why my foundation doesn't match my body 100 % is because in the dancing world we often tend to keep our faces a tiny bit lighter to make it pop a bit more & the bold lip is honestly a must on a dance floor - A nude lip would make it look like you haven't got any lips at all on the dancefloor - But if you want this look to be bit more wearable, you could definitely pair the eyes with a nice nude lip! :-D xx (amilla Frederikke

+Yosra Ryan She said in a video that she had to fake tan for a dance competition and she usually doesn't fake tan so she probably doesn't have a darker foundation. I am pretty sure that is the reason why :)
