I love the Tom Ford Blush, it's one of my favorites. You are right, it doesn't swatch well at all. It looks like nothing, but on the cheeks it's blurring. Fresh and healthy looking, It just does something, but hard to explain. And I like the Surratt skin tint too, because I love a light coverage. And did you notice that your skin was looking even better a few minutes later? I remember the love for the Patrick Ta eyebrow wax💗

I can’t believe that my best “foundation” that I’ve found is a concealer 😮what how ??? lol … the new Tarte Creaseless Creamy Concealer makes my skin look plump and flawless paired with the ND powder foundation & Lancome Bronzer Givenchy original formula on top is perfection my fav complexion I’ve found so far 🤍🤍🤍

La Mer used to have a loose powder that was really popular. I don’t understand why the really good products get discontinued. Maybe because the company gets bought out. The Tom Ford Blush looks really good surprisingly. I do think you are so good with makeup that you can make almost anything work cool or warm.

@@leighAnn76 I have so much pigment in my lips I can’t wear lip color with gray or brown. It’s really hard for me to find shades that go with my complexion because everything pulls red on me. The new NARS lipstick pulls orange even the shade described as cool berry 😮 I can wear gloss and rarely matte.

This was a great video idea❤. Hourglass powders are just the Best IMO. Some colors I do have to use a dense brush. Especially the Bronzers, but they just make the skin look so good!!😅

That TF blush looks gorgeous!! I find that with those hard-pressed powders (especially baked gelee formulas, like that CT palette), a natural hair brush makes all the difference. Funny, I saw someone else say the exact opposite in a previous comment! Thought I'd offer my 2 cents regardless. ❤ Another use for the Dior rosey glow blush is as a shade adjuster. If you ever find something leaning too warm, a bit of rosey glow will fix it. The same for the coral glow...it will warm up when things are too cool. Neither of them will read as color on the face. It just adjusts the temperature (cools or warms) and stays invisible. Beyond its own beautiful color, it is such a handy product to have around. While other blushes in those tones can perform the same trick to a degree, there is something magical about the Dior formula. I haven't tried using the powder on my lips, but I'd bet it could even work on adjusting lipstick shades. Question: I know you like the caliray corrector, but I've had a really difficult time getting it to work for me. It almost seems too thin and too sheer. How does that texture compare to the Huda? I've considered trying that one. I do like the texture of the Huda concealer...are they similar? I've also tried the new Tarte corrector, but I can't seem to get the right amount....and no matter the myriad of different ways I apply it, it always seems too much and blends too far. I can't be strategic with placement which is crucial with color correcting. Any thoughts? Suggestions? Great video, Blair! It does really inspire me to get into my stash. I have a ridiculous amount of makeup, especially for someone who is NOT a content creator!! I need another round of decluttering along with trying on items I've had in there forever. ❤❤❤

I looooove the surratt dew drop foundation. I use about 5 drops in the palm of my hand and I use the short round dense foundation brush from hourglass to saturate and spread. The more liquid the more the dense the brush and I get the best blend and coverage 😊 sorry nobody asked lol but it’s my favorite way to apply 💗

I was surprised the dew drop foundation was in your thumbnail. I live that foundation! I never purchased the CT highlighter that you decluttered but my understanding is it has an overspray.with glitter. If you still have it you might try taking a tissue to it to wipe the overspray off?

The matte brown in that cover girl palette actually works really well as a transition shade. It looks darker in the pan than it translates on skin which I don’t mind. Not that I care if you keep it or not

I need to do this. I notice that I get a bug and get rid of stuff, and then regret it, and go out months later and replace the same thing. 😂😂 Next time, I need to do my make-up once or twice with the stuff before I declutter . The supermodel lip color does look lovely on you

I use my BK 106 in the CT blush palette. It somehow works better than my natural hair brushes probably because it’s so dense. I’m still on the fence about Surratt concealer too. I think the shades do run really light. I probably should have gotten shade 3 and I hate the applicator. I ended up returning the CT multi glow highlight because I didn’t appreciate the glitter specks.

I liked how my skin looked when wearing the Surratt Beauty Dew Drop foundation. However, the packaging is terrible. I didn’t repurchase it because of that annoying button. To think that I was going to settle for less than an ounce of foundation, but the packaging scared me away.
