I absolutely over-thought my valentines in elementary school. In 5th grade I had a crush on a boy, and I got those magic eye valentines. One of the designs had hearts on it, and I made sure no one else got the heart one except him. I really thought I was sending a message lollllllllllll

I have to say. That Elf primer is one of my favorites. Coming from a very oily skinned 52 yr old. It feels great going on and it helps my staying power. I have heard that the Danessa Myrrick balm is the best for oily skin. I just can’t justify spending $55. 😊 I am a SAH nana that uses makeup everyday and tries to stay on a budget with my cosmetics and skincare.

Before you throw away the power grip primer try mixing it into a foundation. It’s not as sticky but you get the staying power. I was just about to get rid of mine too when I saw a video by Nina Ubhi she a professional makeup artist here on KZbin and gives great makeup tips and tricks. That was one of them that I loved.

Try patting on the Power Grip primer rather than rubbing it. You may find that works better. Either way it's applied, it's definitely a primer I can't live without.

Each month I choose an older pallet to add into my rotation for the whole month. I keep my current favorites out too. I usually reach for the older pallet a decent amount. February I'm using Too Face Chocolate Gold. I was also a child who would overthink my Valentines!

I love the ELF grip primer. I find that if I use 2 pumps it feels really good going on. It makes a huge difference in the staying power of my make up.

Lately, foundation doesn't look good around my nose. I typically forget to use primer but decided to see if the lack of primer is the problem. I tried a few frommy stash, and the winner is Tarte and Elf grip primer. I was going to declutter Elf also, but it definitely made a difference! Emily, I can't believe you don't reach for the Huda Rose Quartz palette. It's so versatile, easy to use, and gorgeous. You certainly created a beautiful look, and I will for sure recreate it today, as I'm going to a friend's house in a little while. Enjoy your snow day!❄️

I thought the Patrick Ta foundation was a little dark with no coverage so, once you brightened, it was better….pretty $$$ to declutter! Maybe in the summer, it would work better? I love putting on the Elf power grip primer. Dry skin girlie here. I don’t find it very hard to move across my skin 😂 it’s such a game changer having dry skin and using a lot of moisturizing or dewy products when I want longwear

Em, I absolutely love the Better Than Sex waterproof mascara. ❤feel like the large spoolie helps fan out the lashes and the curl definitely stays all day. Also, the scare was funny and my 3 year old daughter does it to me all the time and then gives a maniacal laugh!!
