I’m a 34 year old woman and I have been appreciating less is more when it comes to makeup. I LOVE the French makeup look, a fresh face with lipstick is my go to. But My goodness you are such a GORGEOUS lady! Not only that but I love how you conduct yourself. You seem like a really classy woman and I appreciate seeing that. I recently discovered Shea Butter and my dry, sensitive, eczema skin has been LOVING it. I like to whip my own body butters using Shea Butter with organic plant oils and essential oils. I’m going to try using Shea butter on my face as highlighter from now on and see how that goes!

You are such an inspiration to me, I really like your ways! I turned 50 recently and watching young youtube girls is fun, but what looks good on them might not be the right product for my age. You are beautiful, pleasant, smart, humble and thougtful- well, it feels like being friends, even if we dont't know each other. Sounds weird, I know, but that's the way it feels to me. When I saw the colour of the blush first I was like ' oh, no- too strong, too lilac, no way- but then, it turned out much softer on your cheeks and gave you a fresh look. I never tried mineral powder make up having lightly dry skin but I might try out one now. I am going cruelty free since some month meaning: I keep my already purchased lip sticks from MAC etc but not buying new ones. I really enjoy naked skin foundation from Urban Dekay, it's so light weight, looks like skin ( really!) and specially in hot and humid seasons when you don't want to put much on your face, it really works for me.

You do something that is a beauty secret in the beauty industry. Applying blush under your eyes is the most youthful thing a woman can do to look younger. It makes the eyes look wide awake and gives the skin a lift. No one talks about it because everyone is into what's in fashion but the true professionals know this secret well. If you look at a child's face, it usually has blush under the eyes when active and playing and it is on the whole cheek. If only some of the older women on youtube knew this they would look a thousand times better. Unfortunately they follow fads and apply contour which is very very aging and then they apply their blush far down and away from the center of the face....very aging. It's all about uplifting color and placement. Yes this is a real beauty secret

Agreed! I've also noticed youtube tutorials use blush as contour in the hollows, or high on the temple, but blush on the apples of the cheek looks so much more youthful!

I see that someone else mentioned Alima Pure, and that brand has so many colors and undertone options. Also, The All Natural Face and Pure Anada may have a good yellow-undertoned light shade. Thank you for the tip on pressing in the powder foundation. What a great idea! When you use Retin-A, buffing in a foundation can cause peeling. Not a good look.

I’m so glad to know someone else 57 who feels they look best in mineral foundation!!! BB creams & glowing cream foundations look beautiful on me the first 2 hours then they soak into my dry skin and look aging. I love that. I don’t wear face makeup anymore and I need to but I scrub my skin to death and still it has skin that is ashy. I love eye makeup and can do that. Now big pores from aging too and I’m at a loss. I don’t know if you remember but I used to love coty airspun liquid to powder. It’s been gone a long time. I miss it as it was perfect for me . I use eyeshadow and an angled brush to fill in my brows. It is a lot more natural and forgiving than an eyebrow pencil. Perhaps you can find an eyeshadow in a color that works for you.

First timer here! You are lovely 😘 I'm 64 & have the dry skin blues. Especially my forehead! I've never liked the "matte" look, even in my younger years. I was using a Clinique liquid 'dewy' foundation - and loved it. Well, wouldn't you know, that's the one they finally discontinued! Boo 😖 Your skin looks so healthy. And I love the way you applied all of your make-up. I've always done my foundation first too, then eyes, then blush. I don't fuss about my eyebrows, never have. You are beautiful and glowing. You actually look like you have olive skin tone. Which is the hardest to find a match in makeup but such a beautiful skin tone to have. Your skin definitely has a green undertone, at least on camera. Maybe you can find an eyeshadow that matches your brows. I also have a really hard time finding the right eyebrow shade, I’ve found it’s easier to find an eyeshadow shade that matches to fill them in a bit. I wanted to love your utube videos. There aren't a lot of videos out there that pertain to 40 and above so when I spotted yours, I was very excited. I've seen just about all channels for this age group but somehow I missed yours. So I started to binge watch them and started to realize there was an ongoing theme after seeing approximately 5 videos. This was truly a marketing channel for viewers to buy merchandise. I couldn't find any video that wasn't 'pushing' products. The makeup videos weren't exciting because, due to your desire to not wear the different makeups that are typically used, it was basically the same brands. There wasn't a video about what you eat in a day, your workout or walking regiment, what a typical day is (of course, not personal situations which isn't for viewers to see), what you cook, etc. The videos were over and over about buying items you show. I realize you get a fee for this but it makes for a continuously redundant theme. I was really surprised that your actually had links to Yurman and Hermes bracelets. Come on now! I know, I don't have to watch nor subscribe but I truly feel I would be remiss if I didn't comment on what I saw. If you ever watched Hot & Flashy or Uppiebeads59, you would see how diverse their subjects are and they do make videos for the above 40 viewer. They too have affiliate links but they film diverse videos. And never did I ever see them show items that exceed $1,000 because they've mentioned that it would not be something a lot of viewers could afford. Nor do they show a menu in a restaurant with the prices in view. Why would anyone have to see a menu? Yes, I can afford to eat out with my husband as well as buy clothing that I want but my comments are about the marketing aspects of your channel. Sad.

You look fantastic! Such a good eye for what suits you. I believe eyeshadow would be great for your brows - lots of cooler neutrals or pretty greys available, looking as soft/dramatic as you want depending on the pigment content and the brush used.

My face is very narrow also and I never look good with blush the way they say it's supposed to be done for mature women. I will have to try your way. I blush like you so I should wear it that way. I also love the way you used shea butter on the dry patches of your eyes and where you would put a highlighter. It made your skin look youthful and glowing. I'm 57 and 2 years ago I fell ill, and it aged me from a 20 lb weight loss in 3 weeks and no diagnosis for 14 months. I have always looked so much younger. My profile picture was 2 years ago a week before I fell ill. I never tanned so I had very little wrinkles, now I have crepe skin and extremely dry skin. You have great skin. I am 61 and use soft matte foundations because they go on over sunscreen without the sunscreen separating and clumping the foundation over the day or making me look greasy. I'm also pale and yellow, so I end up buying two shades of foundation. The Fenty shade 100 is a good light shade mixer for liquid or cream foundations that aren't quite there.

I love powder foundation. Used to use RMS when I lived in a cold, wet climate. But now that I live in SWFL I find liquids make my skin get so shiny looking. I use Alima Pure for powder foundation.

I know this is an older video but I wanted to mention that the company who makes ZuZu Luxe also makes Gabriel Cosmetics and their powder foundation is made of the exact same ingredients. You can see both powders online and compare. I swatched the Gabriel version at Sprouts but more colors are offered online. I found my perfect match with the Gabriel line after two different Zuzu Luxe powders failed to look good on me. Hope you find a great match with the Gabriel line too!

You can also check out Lily Lolos mineral foundation! I just found it and they have so many different shades, plus small sample containers so you you find the right one for you. I'm also warm toned and the shade Popcorn is great on me. Another tip is Madaras City cc-cream in Medium. It''s wonderful. So if you feel inspired maybe look into that one as well. I think you look so young! You are lovely and peace filled! I am 46 and I fill in my brows (some) with an eyeshadow that is dark grey. It doesn't look "grey" on, but the warm tones that are in most eyebrow fillers is not there and it seems to work seamlessly with my brows. I only need a tiny bit. God bless you!

So related to you saying the mascaras give you a headache! I just started wearing makeup again and get a headache around my eyes...a lot like a side effect I get from some meds. I know I am not crazy and yet it seemed kind of ridiculous that a bit of makeup would give me a headache. I also don’t like the smell of the makeup on my face (or some part of the makeup). I just can't believe how thick your eyelashes are even before you apply the mascara! I definitely need to try that mascara because I don't like nor have I ever used false eyelashes. Your eyebrows are so perfect and so even I wouldn't mess with them. From the beginning of this video I noticed that for one your skin is so clear that it looks like you're wearing foundation! If I could have any of your features on my face it would be your absolutely perfect size and shape sexy classy lips! That lip color looks like it matches that blush exactly. I love that lip color but my skin tone is white fuzzy freckly sun damaged age spotted and very fuzzy so I really do have to wear Lancôme foundation. I don't think I've ever spent more than 10 minutes applying make up I just don't have patience for it.

I absolutely love your minimal makeup! I'm a big blush fan as well! The Blush you used is so pretty on you 💕 wow shea butter sounds like a great idea! I struggle with dry skin and my smile lines are very visible. At the same time I tend to get acne from time to time so shea butter probably would break me out :/ that's too bad... loved this video! Please do more makeup tutorials! It's so relaxing to watch 💕💕💕
