I'm 70. Since I started wearing makeup around 13 I have taken my makeup off with oil and a hot, wet washcloth. Sometimes I use vegetable oil or olive oil but usually baby oil. I practiced Nursing for 40 years and we used to get Doctor's orders to slather patient's feet with Crisco shortening, Sounds crazy but it was thing years ago. My mother in law had Crisco in a fancy jar and used it as a moisturizer. The point is, I look young for my age and have very few wrinkles. I attribute that to great genes and using oil on my face everyday. I think your advice is excellent.

Wonderful as always, Janis. You look so pretty and festive, especially during this holiday season. It's interesting that you decided to use your china, jewelry, etc instead of waiting for special occasions. Last summer i took my fine crystal iced tea glasses out of the china cabinet and put them in the kitchen cabinet so I could use them more often. It made me so happy to hear the melodious ring of the ice tinkling when lifted for a drink. On Thanksgiving day, we were hosting my family for dinner. My niece reached for a glass, inadvertently broke the catch on the shelf and all the crystal crashed to the floor - shattered. 😮 No one was hurt and its not the end of the world, but. . .sigh. Anyway, Merry Christmas and a very happy, healthy New Year.
