Love you dear mega, but there is a reason why is to start with a pea size amount. You use a lot , and that’s why was giving you some pilling in that area. This is a foundation that you can build but In small layers, and you looked stunning as always you know how to finesa and the match on camera looked perfect 🤩. I hope you give it a try again because Just first impressions don’t say all about a product

I returned that DM Yummy skin foundation immediately after purchasing it during SEPHORA VIB Rouge sale. I love Danessa but this was only a 26 shade range with too many gaps in between. Also, while I love pairing skin care with foundation, the concept is tedious to pull off because of what it does to the formulation. The Yummy serum is nice on its own, but it doesn’t play well with the complementary foundation or any foundation for that matter. My closest shade was 19G, which was awful because I have a very neutral underdone, but 21/22N were way too dark. I don’t know who’s in Danessa’s camp, but so far the only thing she’s released that I like were the blushes.

Why you don't want to use a foundation that was your perfect match? Can you share your rationale behind it?

The ones that are a perfect match can look too light once I’ve done my whole routine. I use a light highlighter. The shades of skin products I use depend on the shade of the foundation.
