I love how it opens! And the portrait to get in! It reminds me of some toys we had in the states years ago called Polly Pocket / Mighty Max. Maybe that's why I'm so nuts about these tiny dioramas. I've always had a love for things like this. Good call on the tapestry. It really helped to go with cloth.

OooOo! I loved the mystery of not knowing what scene you were going to be making! I got so giddy to see your tiny furniture and frames, and I also really loved the detail of making the staircase 3D in the background. Each little detail makes these all the more magical, but the cherry on top was definitely the Portrait of the Fat Lady! LOVED!

I think a 1/12 size of the Gryffindor common room will give you more possibilities for details than the matchbox size. I can clearly see the difference since you are doing currently the Ravenclaw common room in the larger scale. I truly admire your work since some patterns are simply free hand drawing. Not to mention all the details which make the dioramas look like they come right out of the Harry Potter movies. It would take me at least an hour to get a window in the correct size for the corresponding scale scale done.

hehe I get this question quite often. I might have to do a art studio tour at some point. Right now most of my creations are sitting behind me at my work station in a cabinet (you can see it in the live streams). When time progresses I might put them on the roof or something...

I am very happy that you did not originally tell us what you were actually making, just that it was #6 in the series, that is one of my least favorite things when it is supposed to be a mystery thing but then you are told what it is and shown the finished product in the thumbnail, if I see the finished product in the thumbnail, I don't particularly get invested and watch the whole video.
