If Toyota brings its international cars like Yaris there is no big response in India. Hence in order to give affordable cars Toyota now depending on Suzuki. Also Toyota wants to keep some market share at decent levels in India when compare to other International players like Honda, Skoda and VW.

As for Suzuki booster jet, they have a another opportunity here like if they are able to make the car for reliable for atlest 7-8 years they have a winner, seems they have reduced the engine power to run the car in Indian compromised fuel of 91 octane and they prefer additives to reduce the carbon deposits which is a negative of gdi engines which in turn might clog the injectors.

@@AllanSamuel007 because in sister brands usually one big brand owns the other and the big brand is the dictator in vw, Skoda the dictator is vw, these sister brands were introduced to bring in a different favour of the same group and to bring in more revenue rather than pushing out more models they are done to prevent market share moving to other brands and pull in more money, there is always a deep understanding between the sister brands, like one feature will be there in Hyundai and same will not be there or limited in Kia, eg imt gearbox now is more exclusive to Kia and not hyundai like that you are offering choices, as for Suzuki vs Toyota it's just a business arrangement and it's a understanding which can go bad anyday. And you don't have the bond sister brands has. Both brands does not own each other and each are just using each other names, once the name goes away both brands will say bye bye to each other. For eg suzuki will cut a few features of hycross and price it lesser
