Oh, and I play sometimes on steam deck, which the Console Port addon is very popular for. Using the steam keybinding system can work around the issues with new GSE/ww prepatch i think, haven't attempted yet, it is quite robust

Glad I could help. I will tell you that Tim is working on a way to bind to a gamepad within the keybinding interface. If you update GSE to the newest version, it may already be in there.

Thanks for all your videos - been watching all of them!! I’m currently not playing wow - but want to go back to classic era server and start up again. I guess I have to make my own macros due to changes in GEE/wow and can’t import my old lazy macro from earlier 😊😅 I’ve used GSE due to disability - and could only group and raid due to it. Thanks for doing all these videos!!

Well, if all you play is classic, then you will still use GSE 3.1.69. Classic has not updated to the changes that Pre-Patch made. So, you cant use 3.2 in classic. www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/gse-gnome-sequencer-enhanced-advanced-macros/files/5324660

Ur doing God's work here in the videos for everyone. Honestly tho i think more people use gse then we think. And i started banning people for software key spamming id probably just quit. The just isn't fun enough manually doing all the rotations. Im tryna chill when i play and still clear HC content

Interesting stuff. What is your opinion of the Razer Tartarus Pro which is made with the keys serving two functions. In other words, pressing halfway down on a single key is one function and pressing all the way down on the same key is another function. I use this on all my alts and it seems to help me, but I am not sure if there are other ways to accomplish the same thing as I am new here. I am also confused as to what two functions make the most sense to put on a single key. Thanks for your content!

I'm not familiar with that. I know that the 1 button = 1 action thing is important, so I dont think 2 actions is a great idea. /shrug

Amazing video! Thank you! Can you please do a video on mouseover, focus macros next? I am planning on playing ret pally in TWW and would love to incorporate a macro for example, Blessing of Sacrifice - cast it on focus if exists, or mouseover if exists, or targetoftarget if exists or otherwise just cast. Similar to /cast [@mouseover,noharm,exists] [target=focus] Blessing of Sacrifice; [target=targettarget] Blessing of Sacrifice. Thanks again for your awesome vids! Keep up the goodwork!

Awesome job explaining things, thank you man....Too bad I am stuck making my own less than ideal click macros with GSE 3.2, I use a controller and the buttons are not bind able in GSE. A bug or blizzard decision has made that an issue. Unless you have a better idea for that case. As far as I can tell it can't work at least for the time being......as I keep watching the video you have an option for that wow,so much thank you, lol.....

If you use the consoleport addon for your controller, the solution may be towards the end of this video. Check the video description for the console command to bind to a controller.

@@oakensoul I don't care for the addon personally as it changes so much of the UI and it remaps everything, yes it can be edited and changed and customized but I am so used to my custom mapping that I would have to learn over again from scratch, so I've avoided it. There is a reset for the entire sequence that you can set so that that the entire sequence resets after combat. Other than that, resets in castsequences only work in the in game /macros and NOT in the macrotext within GSE.

TBH, I wish I knew. I dont use consoleport so maybe check with that addon? There is an exciting change coming to GSE though allowing direct gamepad keybinding without using the command I put in this video. :)

Gonna have to figure how to use synapse to use the keybind whilst holding the button, I uploaded your prot paladin gse sequence it uses three holy power so fast when I need to heal with WoG I never can get it off lol. I am not sure if the shift modifier works whilst spamming the hotkey.

If it's my prot sequence, it's set so that it will still build holy power while holding control and if you are mousing over a player it will use that holy power to WoG them. I have nomod:shift on that one so that if you hold shift, it will essentially pause the sequence.

It's really easy, just have to "record" what key presses you want to do (I'm not at home so I can't tell you where to find it, I want to say in the macros tab). give it a name. which makes it a macro. then go to the keyboard settings and apply the recorded macro to whatever key you want, then choose how you want the keyboard to fire it off. there are 3 choices, I think. I have a black widow, so I usually assign to one of the 5 macro keys on the left side of the keyboard.

Hmm, Oak. Something isn't working for me. I created an in-game macro for a reset (/cast reset=target Avenger's Shield) in Macro Toolkit and the Error Manager is saying it's not valid. It does fire off the ability, I think....but not positive as it's also in 1 of my macrotext blocks farther down. Did they completely get rid of reset=target/combat for macros?

I change the font size with the addon AdvancedInterfaceOptions under Floating Combat Text, I have it set to 2.2. I change the font style in ElvUI under General/Fonts/Combat Font You can also just directly change the font size with a console command /run CombatText:SetScale(X) Replace the "X" in the command with a number value

Believe it or not, other than the font style/size change, my combat text is the default way blizzard makes it. So, i get it that way by NOT using any scrolling combat text addons. :)

you do /click and the the NAME of Your Sequence. So if your sequence was called OAKRETST then you'd do /click OAKRETST

I imported a sequence and assigned the number key 1 to it. It was working fine, but when I disconnected and logged in again, it no longer worked, and the Keybindings tab does not open to be able to assign another key, do you know what could have happened with this tab?

Talent imports can be buggy between wow patches. Maybe that could be it. Alot of creators post screenshots of the talents as well, you might be able to go off that.

It started with accessibility. This helps people with disabilities that cannot play the game the same way an able-bodied person could. However, some people use these so they can focus more on mechanics and less on rotation. People use these for PVE and PVP.
