FYI For people trying to import the macro from the Discord server. You need to download the text file. If you just copy the text from the text box, you will get a "Macro unable to be imported" error in GSE, when I try to import it. The text box is just a preview of the first few lines of the macro. Great macro, works very well on my hunter!!!!

Thank you so much ,,, Id just been doing spell sequences and I could get above 250K on Single Target (target dummy) . I changed a few things but pretty much followed this video and after the first 20 to 25 seconds I am averaging 320K to 350K..... Beastmaster is my main so I'm pretty happy ... this is with 514 IL gear for reference. Bosses in latest event 350K+ so about 100K improvement

Picked up a few good tips, now I need to re-work mine a little to be more effective. Trying to build a ST and AE build into 1 sequence using mods, rather than 2 separate sequences, since we cannot call another sequence in an existing sequence anymore.

If for hunter, the two rotations (ST and AOE) are very similiar and a one button sequence can be achieved by using mod keys. Good luck!

@@oakensoul Yeah, But I like the new key bindings that allow me to put a build with a specific sequence. That allows me to really tweak for AOE or Single, and also easier to update when we lose all these secondary stats at the beginning of TWW, rather than try to puzzle/optimize 2 builds in 1 sequnece. My AOE is up to over 750K on over 7 minutes with target dummy (unbuffed), pretty consistent. Just need to get my ST created and lined up now!

hey man you should look in to "Key Framing" your videos. its a very easy thing to do in any software. Then, we could read what you are typing if I monitors are small. thanks. ps: key framing would just allow you to focus on the areas you are working in, therefor enlarging it for us. My monitor is 1080p 24 inch so its not always easy to follow. I feel like this is a fairly common monitor setup.

The click rate is used in GSE to allow GSE to keep time. It's best practice to have them match. But, if you arent using things like pause blocks, it's not "really" necessary for them to match. Also, MS is highly subjective, use what works best for you.

However, when I use these keybinds, I am unable to use button 1 or 2 for anything other than the sequences (i.e. pet battles, dragonriding, etc.) Is there a way to make these two buttons usable for other interactions when not in combat? Interrupts are off the GCD, so you would just interrupt the same way you always do. I would NEVER put your base interrupt into a sequence.

Some builds use COTW, some dont. I built my sequence to work with whichever build you choose to use.

Having some trouble manually typing in the macro commands in the GSE action blocks. Type is set to macro, but when I type /petautocaston [nogroup] Growl or any /cast command and save, it deletes half the macro. For example /petautocaston [nogroup] Growl becomes "/petautocast" after save. How to I get spells and such to stay in the macro text?

I have compared sequences to Hekili in the past. GSE isn't smart and due to the way blizzard's API is set up, it can't be. Hekili can show what skills to use, but cannot use them. So, this will likely never line up completely with Hekili, but it can come close, and in some instances, exceed the damage that Hekili can help you do.

Would it be possible for you to use spell IDs instead of spell names in future videos and macros? That would make it easier for me as a non-English client user. Great work nonetheless. Lutechi has done this before in his macros as well. By the way, what is Lutechi up to these days? I haven't seen him on Twitch lately.

GSE used to convert spell names behind the scenes into their spellIDs. It may still do this. I'm checking with Tim. Also, not sure what Lutechi is up to these days. :D

@@oakensoul Unfortunately I don't use weakauras. I do use the addon TrufoGCD which is wonderful. I used to use 1 for targeting, 2 for GSE ST, 3 for Special and 4 for GSE AoE. Can't do 2 and 4 anymore. I use 2 and 4 to tell if the current character has a one macro does both or 2 separate macros ST/AoE (I have 36 characters I play). Right now I have just blank macros called ST and AOE to remindme what the current character has. Just looking for ways to make them do something instead of just visual reminders. BTW, thank you for the KNOWN, GROUP, EXIST heads-up, I didn't know they existed. And also how null works.

The AOE sequences that I have tested so far are all bad, they reach an average of 500-600k dmg at GS 528. But they should be between 800-1.2 million. The single target sequences work great. Do you have any ideas for optimizing them? Kind regards

I'm sure there are tweaks to be made. It takes playing with different aspects of the sequence to find what works for you.

Yeah, you could add that. I would only use it on boss fights and would just manually cast it. I feel it's a waste of a GCD when normal mobs go under 80% health so quickly.

Im getting some problems: while i can still only use 1 button to macro everything, i dont get it: if i press the same button slowly, a bunch of button presses dont make anything.
