I purchased this watch today from Dillard’s and it is actually good. Looks way better in person and the flight mission inspired details are nicely done. I like the combination of features and it is comfortable on the wrist. The led light is a mini flashlight 🔦 it is bright 💡

Great review, getting one. For those complaining about solar if you area a pilot/or rescue stuck in a situation where you need to re rescued or work at night, solar is not practical either. Depending on use it will easily give you at least 3-5 years

Non-solar is a step back. I prefer the simplicity of my GW-A1100. It only has the compass as well as the regular watch functions but solar is king.

So, there is MudMaster (GG-B100) & now GravityMaster(GR-B200) that both has Carbon Core with Carbon Fiber bezel. Both are midrange Master of G. Hope G-Shock add another GulfMaster, with that kind of design also to complete the collection. :D

what is different between GR-B200 and GG-B100? I think definitely same watch. there are different deisgn and item name only! same option same manual too GR-B200 is brand new one but I prefer GG-B100 mudmaster because look in good than B200 and got more color(limited edition)too

Hello gshock highfasion. I watched your video about the plastic buckle on the GR-B100. Can you please test whether or not the buckle from the GGB-100 is compatible? It would be a great option if possible. Thank you.

The size is exactly the same thus yes you can swap them. However, the plastic GR-B100 buckle horn is thicker than the one on the GG-B100. The holes on the GR-B100 is slightly bigger as well to fit its own buckle. If you use a GR-B100 buckle into GG-B100 strap, it would get stuck or troublesome to unwrap from wrist since the holes on the band is smaller. You could use it, just not ideal. If you use a GG-B100 buckle onto GR-B100 band, it'll fit just fine.

This is a nice watch but the gravity Master before it has less tech but at the same time it has the most important thing which is solar and Bluetooth I have to pass on this model

They are the same apart from colouring. The blackout hour markers are much more difficult to see imo. Hope this helps :)

has anyone else noticed if you set the home time and/or world time in the app with this watch and try and adjust it manually afterwards it jumps to utc with the first press.. and it locks back to one press to utc after the automatical time adjustment feature at 12:30:00/6:30:30?.. any reason to let it hang at the hour hand til those times?..

it's set to declination if you adjust it manually on the watch it will show inclination. declination is the compass horizontally. and inclination is the angle east/west holding the compass vertically.

I have more than a few g shocks, just a few batery powered, one gulfmaster that needs new bateries every two years, all the solars are way way better.I dont buy batery powered any more,especialy these 2 years ..For other models like ga400 or gdx6900ht where the batery lasts 10 years and more its ok , but for master series and bluetooth watches ,it is absolut insane .casio made a greta watch,no doubt about that ,but ruined everything at the end.

If you were to make good use of the multiple functions, you will kill the battery in no time. Therefore, no solar recharging or electrical recharging is not practical at all. After you have replaced the battery, you wouldn't want to kill the battery prematurely again.

Does anyone know why the RCV can't be turned on via watch? Hands suddenly stopped moving after pressing the light button to switch home/international times. Done factory reset but still RCV is off and pressing button A does nothing in that setting. Watch is Gravity master GR-B200. Thanks.

I loved mine until the battery died. Had it professionally changed and about 1-month later the module literally burned up. Entire watch filled with smoke. Only Casio I have owned in 30 years that has failed. Replaced it with a GWG-1000. Seems more robust and is solar. Hopefully it will never have to be opened for the life of the watch. Was considerably more $ but I believe worth it.

the buckle being made of plastic goes to show they are just trying to scrape up some extra money with the design of the watch. using cheaper parts and the left overs of the computer chip parts from the mudmaster.

Too bad my new Casio GRB200-1A "Gravity Master" has a "MAJOR" fault, in that the HANDS (Analog) time does NOT match the DIGITAL time. It's EXACTLY FIVE MINUTES OFF! That makes the strap and buckle issues pale by comparison! It's NOT a good thing to have a watch that doesn't keep good time! Maybe a jeweler who knows how to advance the minutes hand by FIVE MINUTES can help. Either that or Casio. I was impressed with the watch until I ran into this issue. And YES, I have set the time manually AND with the app with the same results. Looks good, but I sure wouldn't recommend!

But you broke the carbon fibre on the ggb100 which is the same watch with the added protection of bumpers to protect the face!! Your a tripper!!! The ggb100 looks far better, has a better layout and as mentioned you have the addition of several raised bumpers that protect the which face,!! Your crazy to buy this model... Go the GGB 100 It's a far better unit
