great video. I have meet Gary at a show this year and had a nice conversation with him. he showed me new skills to help my building. He is a great builder and good to the hobby. I have also been in he 24hr build for the last 5 years and learned a lot from them. have a great week

It is great to see Gary and Chip on your channel! Both are excellent builders and all around great guys! I am fortunate enough to call them friends. BTW, I thought I was pretty ingenious just polishing out the white body and applying decals on our first couple of 24 hour builds…lol.

Thanks Doug, Great seeing Gary and Chip, personalities behind the names we've seen in magazines for years. Totally loved that Super-Glue comment. I've used superglue, superglue and baking soda and/or talcum powder as filler for years, started in monster models with it, (think those awful Revell Roth kits). I've had guys on model car forums tell me "Oh you shouldn't use that stuff; it'll crack right off the model", same "experts" who use two-part fillers. Have models with superglue on them 25+ years with zero defects, the stuff works, you're right it's archival!

Wow, that dune buggy caught my eye... i built the stock manx to match my real one.. i used to build as a kid into my teens.. now im 59 and want to slowly get back to building some models ive kept for years in the closet... thanks for sharing
